didn't have the issues with the game files, but I did have a brief period when it wouldn't let me on to any of the http://www.hero-server.net pages.

Its not the game files, it was when Patcher would connect to hero-server.net when it would turn to crap.

Marshmellow analyzed the file

Marsh says (3:44 PM)
lol all it does is go to that domain's forward302.aspx page.??nothing bad about that.??False Positive on that file

I figured it was nothing bad because it affected no other website, marsh confirmed, but avast just wanting to be a real annoyance.

it's because the patcher loads the front page of the server. and that page loaded the js file. avast's FP'd (false positive) on it thinking it was malicious most likely because it is using a pretty simple/rudimentary obfuscation technique. all it does is redirect the user to the http://[current domain]/forward302.aspx page. nothing bad about the js file itself.

Still makes me wonder who made the page redirect to that.

Yeah, same thing/weird site happened to me to a T, also showed that exact "false positive" in my Avast scan as well. I also noticed that every-time Icy has a certain issue with an error, etc., I have the EXACT same one in the exact same manner. Our stuff must be set up identically or something, lol!! Well, glad to see everything's working again and knowing that found item is a false-positive rests my soul. Thanks for listing that!

Off-topic: I can't stop laughing at Icy's Avast being in pirate language, it's so funny Icon_biggrin <3.

GM-Pandora says that the issue was that the web host didn't renew the domain, which they were supposed to do automatically. She contacted them and they fixed it.

And Icy, please change that screenshot so it links to it instead, it stretches the forums.
