New Chat Interface - Loveless - 11-22-2007 03:52 PM

Well, I took some screenshots right now.

As you all know, server is down, so I went to my old server to say Hi, and I found out that they have a new and COOL chat interface.

Here is the screenshot:

The two red dots on are to enable or disable the regular log or the battle log.

The blue dot is to check options on that chat window, so you can select what to show and what to hide.

I find it pretty cool, also you can adjust the size of your chat dialog plus you can move it wherever you want in the screen.

A very very very advanced interface, compared to the last one. I Love It!

I assume this is an advanced version of RO, because I doubt that is made by the server.

Is it possible for us to get that? Or we have to wait to some kind of update?

It's the new RO interface, from official server. It will probably take some time before we get it. It's still incomplete in eAthena as far as I know.

I changed them that way for the picture, but you can make it like the old one.

One is normal chat the other is called battle chat. You can customize which kinds of messages appear in which box so it's a great way to not miss conversation due to item drop message spam. It's been out for a few months on all the cutting edge servers. I don't think there is a reason we can't have it here other than that we would need to update the SVN.

actually EQ allowed you to modify your chat settings long before WoW, heh

anyways, i would support this if we could ever get it added *eventually, i miss having two chat windows n_n
