[Question] Pneuma mechanics

Hey, I don't know if this is the right place or not, but here goes!

Let's say we have some ranged-attack monster that I get within melee range to. Then, let's say I let loose a Pneuma on the cell I'm standing on. So, both myself and the monster are within Pneuma's 3x3 area of effect. Would the monster's regular attacks still work on me?

RE: [Question] Pneuma mechanics

The monster's normal attack is considered ranged, so even if it was in melee range Pneuma will still stop its attacks.

RE: [Question] Pneuma mechanics

More detailed reply:

If a monster's normal attack is 4 cells or more, then its attacks are always considered long range regardless of where you are. You can stand right next to the monster so that it's a range of 1, pneuma still works in this case.

If a monster's normal attack is 3 or less, then its attacks are considered melee even though it has a longer range than just 1 (eg: Valkyrie has a range of 3, but you still need safety wall not pneuma to neutralize her attack, because 3 or less in range for a monster is still considered melee.)
