Homunculus vs. custom monsters

Yo!
Have not found any topic about it with the search function, so i'm opening one.

I tried to get my Lif to attack the custom monsters on poring island. By default, she ignores them completely. Even when i order her to attack, she often ignores them, as long as there are other monsters within reach.
So i got the monster id using @mi and entered it in the ai panel, setting it to "attack". (Yes, i saved and relogged/restarted, before anyone asks this. xD)
Yet, i'm still getting the same behaviour on my lif.

The only monster it actually detects and attacks without me having to point to it and right-click like crazy, is the pouring, probably because it's aggressive.

So, is there a way to configure my homun to attack those custom monsters?

RE: Homunculus vs. custom monsters

Pouring isn't a custom monster, that's why your Lif attacks it.

As for enabling her to attack custom monsters, I think you can't, not exactly sure why, but the Homunculus AI doesn't work properly within private servers.

Is that really all? Nobody's developed a work-around?
Technically there shouldn't be any difference if a monster is added by gravity (and thus ported to pservers) or if it is added by a pserver directly... Thinking

If you ever find a workaround, feel free to tell me. I've never found one in the years I've searched for it, and I suppose that's the reason why other AI devs don't want to take the time for Private servers.

Now i'd really like to find out why it doesn't work, but i know next to nothing about how pservers work.
What a bummer. Thinking

Randomness. I had a similar problem thus made another creator < with a amistr < Overriding bad AI is simple imo < alt t < this makes the homonculus passive < if set to defend owner < another alt t should have the monster attacking the monster. Getting the AI to work. No suggestions there.
