I have no sound in RO O_O

I had sound the other day, but I did some cleaning of my computer. And now when i log onto RO in any server. (have them all in seperate folders.) I have no sound, and I have the bgm folder but it just wont come through. Any idea why?

is the BGM option in the options windows in-client checked?

check your sound card/drivers. They may require an update.

Open setup.exe and if everything is in order there.
Btw, you can listen to sounds outside of RO right? Like opening a video or listening to a music.

yeah the only place I do not get sound is in RO.
And everything seems to be ok with my, setup.exe..

First of all, make sure you have the BGMs in your BGM folder. I've seen people ask about this, only to realize they didn't have BGMs at all for some odd reason.

Other than that, check if you have a file called "mp3dec.asi" in your RO folder. It's the file that is required for the BGMs to play. If you don't have it, you can always try to google it to download it, or something.

The bgm now works, but I still have no sfx. :/ So skills don't make noise ;-; :D but I have my music yay!!!
And it was because I did not have that mp3dec.asi file.
