Hi,

I know most of you think im not like smart and all but i don't care

so i was tinking about an NPC that would trade "GemStones" what i mean is he would trade yellow for blue or red for yellow ect ect.
coz im sure people have alot of them other stones they dont use and they would like to trade for other stones.

I think Grim means trading the plain "gemstone" item (#7300) for the spell component gemstones. I disagree with the idea, but I'm just clarifying what I think he meant.

yeah my bad fyrus is correct jade does exact thing thou it totaly lame u need 2 gems to trade for 1 ....

Blue Gemstones are already buyable from NPCs, and the other two aren't. If you could trade 1 for 1, it would kill the point of having NPCs sell just blues, and not red and yellows. It would make it too easy to use and spam those rarer skills that require yellow or red gems (Hocus Pocus, etc).

However, I personally feel that being able to trade 1 red for 1 yellow or vice versa would be acceptable, but only by removing Jade beforehand (or you'd get a yellow gem for two blues by trading two blues for a red, and the red for a yellow).
