Gear Updates & Bug Fixes
• Added visual effects to the activations of Mother's Kindness, Soul Wing, Executioner Hood, and Zen Helm.
• Fixed issue (again, maybe) where 2H Dreamstone Sword was missing a 0 and did not activate its bonus at 100% rate.
• Due to technical limitations, Salvage Cape was changed. See the wiki for its new effect.
• Due to the same technical limitations, Ironforge Pauldron was updated, see wiki for its new effect.
• Fixed typo in the scripts of Gambler Seal and Light of Recovery which caused it to not provide a MATK bonus.
  

Orcus Dungeon Updates
• Thanatos Tower and its basement received some big updates. See here for more info.
  

Other Monster Updates
• Great Demon Baphomet now drops Sacred Mission at 30% up from 15%, Holy Robe [1] at 30% up from 15%, Bloody Shackle Ball at 45% up from 15%, Nemesis at 75% up from 30%, and Cursed Baphomet Doll at 60% up from 30%.
• Kraken MVP's HP was lowered from 5,000,000 to 2,500,000. Everything else remains the same.

Training Dummies are now available! You can test your builds, skills, etc on them. There are two types, one has 0 defense/magic defense, and the other has 50 defense/magic defense and 50 vit/int. Both have 5m HP, are demi-human race, and are boss type to prevent being knocked around.

They can be found in the southeastern part of Prontera, near the old Swordsman Guild (now known as the Dark Allegiance HQ area for Chronicle Events).

Skill Changes
• The Abracadabra Skill will no longer cast Vending, Arrow Crafting, Pharmacy, or Flag Graffiti.
• The max skill level of "Hell Power" and "Hell Dignity" is now 5 instead of 1.
• Hell Power Status (The No-Resurrection one) caused by the above two skills now have different durations. Instead of a fixed 5 minute duration, it is now 1 minute multiplied by the level of Hell Power and Hell Dignity, meaning that at Level 5 the duration is the original 5 minutes.
• Hell Dignity's range has been changed. It now has a range similar to Vampire's Gift (minus the damage dealt).
• The requirements for Venom Pressure and Cross Ripper Slasher have been removed in order to allow its usage by monsters. Reminder that HeRO is a pre-renewal server, and 3rd class skills and beyond are used by monsters to allow for unique and varied PVM experiences.
• Magma Eruption (Unused Skill) now has a duration of 6 seconds instead of 10, and inflicts damage when in the area of effect every second instead of every two seconds.
• Poison Mist (Unused Skill) now lasts 6 seconds instead of 12~20, and the area of effect inflicts damage every 1 second.
  
  Monster Changes
• Satan/Wounded Morroc now uses Hell Power and Hell Dignity at Lv 5 in order to keep the original Hell Power status duration caused by these bosses.

• Felinus and Lupus wigs are now costumes. Previously refined versions of these headgears sold via fairy auction are scripted so that they may not be equipped, and will display a message asking to contact GMs for a fix. This is for balance purposes, to prevent gaining defense from costumes.

As a reminder, The Dye Maker in Morroc, Java Dullihan, was revamped in 2017, and now asks for way less herbs to create dyestuffs. The total herbs he needs is now 8.

Morroc & Sograt Desert
• Years after the cataclysm following Satan Morroc's resurrection, the previously closed off sections of Sograt Desert have been reopened to the public. All desert fields except Morroc Fields 08 and 09 are available, and the warps have been changed accordingly.
  
  
  
  
  
• Dimensional Gorge can still be accessed, and now take the location of the old Morroc Field 08 and 09.
• The restored fields spawns have changed greatly from their pre-renewal version. The northern half of the desert now houses mostly non-hostile mobs, such as Metaller and Peco Peco, while higher level and more hostile mobs such as Sandman, Desert Wolf and Side Winder inhabit the southern half.
• The Continental Guards Quest will no longer reward players with the "Continental Guard Papers", to avoid obtaining an item that one cannot get rid of. Players will still be able to access DG normally after handing in the required items.
• By talking to any of the guards in Morroc Field 20, your existing continental guard will be removed, while still providing its previous benefits.
• Completing the Continental Guards Quest will now reward 10 Million Job Exp in addition to the 10 Million Base Exp that was always obtainable.
• Parties of 2+ are no longer required to enter the restricted dimensional gorge field. This is because players already bypass it by having an autotrader in their party.
  
  
  Quality of Life
• Added an NPC at Geffen, just a few steps east from the fountain, who can change your sex at the cost of a GM Service Ticket. You cannot receive a sex change if the account contains a bard, dancer, their baby or transcendent counterparts, or if any character in the account has started the bard/dancer job change quests. Please report any bugs or general issues with this system.
• The Stop Post quest's Trunk requirement was lowered from 50 to 10, and its zeny cost was lowered from 90,000 to 5,000.
• The Binoculars quest now requires only 15 steel instead of 100. Other ingredients remain the same.
