• Goblin Leader now drops its own tame and equip at 3%, while angry snarl has been removed for space.
• Nightmare Terror now drops its tame and equip at 0.75%.
• Wicked Nymph no longer drops Mandolin or Lute. Instead it drops its tame and pet equip at 0.75%, and Lute is now dropped by Hermit Plant. Miyabi Doll's Mandolin drop rate increased from 0.60% to 0.75% as compensation.
• Dullahan now drops its tame and pet equip at 0.75%.
• Loli Ruri now drops its pet equip at 0.75%.
• Bathory now drops very red juice, Loli Ruri's tame, at 0.75%.
• Flora now drops Leaf Cat's tame, very soft plant, at 0.75%.
• Cookie (Green) now drops green jewel bag, Leaf Cat's pet equip, at 0.75%.
• Logi now drops Imp's pet equip, Horn Barrier, at 0.75%.

Other Loot Updates

• Winter Leaf Cat now drops Kaldian Bream at 30% up from 15%.
• Silver Filir's Kaldian Bream drop was increased from 15% to 75%.
• Silver Filir Chick now drops Kaldian Bream at 60% instead of 15%.
• Pingvi's Kaldian Bream drop was increased from 12% to 75%.
• Angvi now drops Kaldian Bream at 100% up from 18%.

• An issue where Chen Card did not provide any attack was fixed.
  For technical posterity: "bonus bAtk,min(35, readparam(MaxSP)/30);" should be "bonus bAtk,min(35, MaxSp/30);" AKA don't use readparam for MaxSp.
• Fixed a technical issue with Robe of Counter similar to the above one.

• Due to an error when creating the item, Soul of The Ironforge (Accessory) was refinable, unlike all other accessories. This issue has been fixed, as in, it's unrefinable now.
  
  If you have a refined Soul of The Ironforge, it will automatically be removed when equipping it. Please contact a GM to remove the refines. Everything else (cards, etc) will obviously remain the same.

• Fixed issue where Costume Galapago Cap had the incorrect View ID (AKA looked like another hat).

• Fixed an issue with Lutia's Adelaide Investigation quest where the book-searching portion could not be completed.
• Nightmarish Pyramid F2's water now behaves like actual water (can be used to waterball, create holy waters etc).

The Class Training quests are old quests that teach the first class jobs about their skills, as well as their role from a general lore standpoint. These have been modernized to reward a small amount of consumables such as grape juice and bass fish, slightly more exp for questing so early on in the game, and 2 pieces of the new "Initiate's" gear set!

There's 5 total new "Initiate" gears. They give small bonuses to help new players start out, and are meant to be replaced as the player becomes more experienced.

• The class training quest will reward Initiate's Shield, and Initiate's Suit or Armor. The quests are slightly changed compare to official but the official guide is sufficient as a starting point.

  • Merchant Training Quest
  • Swordsman Training Quest

• Geffen Bard quest will reward Initiate's Cloak. Its exp reward has also been increased.

• Medusa & Selkie were added back to OCA.

To clarify, and to leave this on forum so GMs and players don't have to run back and forth for info on the matter:

- Creamy, Medusa, and Joker Card are not in OCA official servers for some reason, and HeRO, using Hercules files, followed suit.
- In 2016 or maybe early 2017, Creamy, Medusa and Joker were added
- In early 2018, presumably after a situation with old blue/purple boxes giving nothing when opened, GMs reverted the Item Groups file (states what can be opened from OCA, DCA, Boxes etc) to an old version, and during file re-updates the cards weren't re-added.
- Joker & Creamy card were readded atfer I was contacted ingame about it recently.
- I couldn't find info on Selkie Card's removal, but I suspect I did it after the removal of Selkie from Muspel.

Item Update

Holy Saber has been reworked!

The item has an overlapping niche with Ritual Sword to be a terrible version of it. Even if you want def piercing, Platinum Shotel indirectly does a better job since critical bypasses all defense, making this item completely pointless. Therefore, it has been given a new effect.


Applicable Job: Now Paladin only.

New effect: For every refine rate of this weapon, add a 3% chance to counter attacks with Level 1 Pressure when the wearer is casting Gospel.

The next patch will update its description to reflect the new effect.


Uncarding services will be offered exclusively for this item and cards inside this weapon up until Sept 22nd. Please contact a GM ingame or send in a support ticket to setup for the uncarding service.

Loot Changes

These are the changes affected by the new item drops that are available immediately.

• Noxious now drops Sapha's Ring at 0.6% instead of Freyja Boots at 0.3%
• Noxious now drops Smoke Emitter[1] at 0.15%
• Venomous now drops Smoke Emitter[1] at 0.15%
• Clock Tower Manager now drops Book of Psyche[2] at 1.5% instead of Memory Book[0] at 1.5%
• Clock Tower Manager's Clock Tower Hat has increased its drop rate from 0.6% to 1.2%
• Nightmare Arclouze now drops Freyja's Boots[1] at 0.45%
• MVP Professor Celia now drops Pocket Watch[1] instead of Pocket Watch[0]
  

General Rune Drop Rate Boost

The lowest tier rune makes enchanting of beginning gears and common hats to be easy. They are typically on low level monsters with the intention that most players end up with a couple by the time they are level 70 naturally. However, their low drop rate results in new players out-leveling the location before any runes dropped. Therefore, all monsters with the runes are getting their drop rate boosted.

• To try and alleviate accidental outfit changes, if you use a temporary Santa Suit or Summer Suit, you can now use another and it will be removed.
