Visual updates & File Changes
- Added extra special effects to the Dreamstone Core in Prisma Cave F2, and the Dreamstone Crystals in Prisma Cave F3. Sidenote Trivia, this makes Prisma Cave the first custom location in HeRO to utilize official's "newer" forms of adding special effects.
Skill Effects Updates
- Ninja's Throw Kunai skill now properly shows the kunai being thrown.
- Added many new visual effects to skills which previously had none, or had similar ones and were not easy to tell apart.
Note 1: All skill behavior remains the same.
Note 2: No existing visual effects were removed as these are hard-coded, we only added additional ones. The only exception to this is Dark Cross, whose effect was somehow removed and only shows the new one.
Note 3: On skills that do not inflict damage, such as Magic Mirror and Hallucination, (except Wide Status ones), it is currently impossible to show an effect, therefore the visual effect was added to the monster's cast time. This means that if the monster has no cast time for the skill, no effect will be shown.
Skills with new visual effects are the following:
Basic Damage Monster Skills
- Piercing Attack
- Dark Breath (The Red "9999" Skill, now turns the character red for a very brief period as an additional indicator of the skill's usage)
- Stand Off Attack (Used mainly by merman)
- Random Attribute Change (Used by nine tails & jokers)
- Splash Attack (Used by... almost everything, but most notably, luciola vespa)
- Random Property Attack (Used by Mane & Pale Vulpine)
- Dark Cross
- Undead Property Attack
- Bleeding Attack
- Hell Power
Area Skills
- Breath Skills (Fire, Ice Breath, Thunder Breath, Acid Breath)
- Darkness Breath (Different from the red 9999 skill "Dark Breath")
- Wide Status Skills (Wide Silence, Freeze, Petrify, Confusion, Sleep, Sight, Curse, Stun, Hell Dignity)
- Vampire Gift
- Wide Soul Drain
Non-Damaging Skills
- NPC Provocation (Reduces VIT Defense)
- Dark Blessing (Coma)
- Lick (Used by Comodo, and Nightmarish Verit)
- Hallucination
- Metamorphosis

- Fire Expansion (Only used by Surtur to create an area acid demonstration. Due to technical limitations it will always show an explosion, even if it does not inflict damage)

Please keep in mind that on offensive non-ground targeted attacks like fire breath, the animation is shown for every target hit, meaning that with high amounts of targets, lag may be felt in the form of momentary drops in FPS. If many players experience this and it becomes a hindrance to the gameplay, please send a support ticket so we may investigate and change these visual effects if necessary.
