RE: Ninja/Gunslinger Skill trees released!

As far as I have seen, they are 1st class character.

However their HP/SP is very small so the high SP skills are made to be used only once or twice before sitting.

Yes, they're first classes, like TK Boy. Ninja looks based in Amatsu, while Gunslinger is based in Einbroch.

This is where the Gunslinger job changer is on kRO.

RE: Ninja/Gunslinger Skill trees released!

I hope there's something I'm missing, because just from reading that they sound like they're a bunch of classes packed into one and then given steroids. Overpowered.

Well, hopefully gravity doesn't 'f it up too??bad and manages to keep some balance.

Edit: I agree with you Pandora. In a day of magic, swords, knights and thieves...then comes...THE ROCKET LAUNCHER!? WTF?! That's just...yeah. Agreed.

They did have gunslingers back in those days, in the Western Americas I believe, I don't know though. My refrence comes from The Last Samurai. Icon_razz

RE: Ninja/Gunslinger Skill trees released!

Okay i suppose if the sp cost for the skills is worked right then the %s wouldn't be as much of a problem *nods*

And yes i agree with Pandora and others that the weapons are just a touch off for the gunslinger (as much as Jenova would love a desert eagle - the handgun Agents use in the matrix - to match how i draw her) but i don't think they would exactly be using flintlocks either, with the arrival of Ein, they should probably be using more the wild-west style weaponry *nods*

[edit] and wow... those are just the 1-1 classes o.o;; [/edit]

RE: Ninja/Gunslinger Skill trees released!

a: yeah, they will be a perma 1st class, with stats reflecting the 1st class.

b:after shotgun blast ect. there will be HUGE delays, as in like 5 seconds of not being able to hit/skills/use items.??

c: In all excitiment, i forgot to mention that these wont be here for a pretty long while.
(creates uber novice and sticks him at gunslinger npc. location)

D: Who wants to start a gunslinger only mafia =D

Edit: Also, if you do decide to make a gunslinger, dont forget bullets. All the skills listed to a crap load of damage cause of bullet consumption, so use them wisely Icon_wink

GM-Pandora Wrote:They sound cool, but I was hoping the gunner class would use old guns, like musquet. Handgun matrix style look kinda weird in the world of RO.

I know, the new style makes me itchy. But you know I love old-style guns no matter Icon_lol

Eh they'd look nice if they weren't in all-black *cough* Orange and Blue *cough* What?!

a: *nods*

b: ~

c: yeah, such a tease Icon_cry
But since i'm going to remake Jenova as one when/if they come out, i'll just leave her as a hunter until they do u_u;;

d: lol, everyone's ignoring the ninja for the gunslingers, i bet the ninja guild's gonna file a discrimination suit soon /swt
(oh yes, and Jenova can't join a mafia, she's the Fortune Hunter of Love and Peace n_n )

You always have to be careful of bullet consumption silly Enn, anyone who's watched Outlaw Star knows that *nods*
