BLB is 10% slot chance at 1 elu + 500k.
It's somewhat harder to get one slotted as tidals seem to be easier to find than slotted BLBs.
The latest offer for a slotted one is 2.5-3.5m a piece while tidals nowadays are 1.5-2m.
BLB has more def than tidals, sure more people opt for tidals for more HP, but some do seem to want BLBs especially now that more and more of its slotted accompanying garment (crest of the rider) is made available to the public.
+9 refines takes about 399 elu and 261 tries, so it's about the same for both of the aforementioned footgear, but i'm just saying that 261 x that 1m difference is quite a bargain at the value of the extra i'm asking for.
Even if we apply the notion that slotted and over-upped gears somewhat lose value from the amount of money it would have cost to make them yourself, the case of slotted panties and undershirt seems to give it a factor of 0.7-0.8. Seems the factor holds true to BLB -> BLB[1]s as 500k a pop at 10% means it should be 5m a piece while market value seems to only be 2.5-3.5m. So in the case of a +9 item then it would be (if the multiplier is factored in twice) = 0.75 * 261 * 3m = 587.25m while a +9 tidal would be 0.75 * 261 * 2m = 391.5m. 200m difference there, but i'm getting ahead of myself, if you feel that the above logic is not entirely suitable, please feel free to leave a comment alongside your bid to justify your thoughts on the matter.

So anyway... Increments in 5m minimum, no other real wishlist but cards like Raydric (15m), Green Ferus (20m), imp (17m), hatters (300k), gold (130k), zerom (9m), linens (5m), elemental sword (6m), tidals (2m), OCAs (2m), WoV (10m or 75m at +7), and the list goes on might be of interest, but what's really important is the minimum bid mentioned above...

I understand the formula for refining items, be that as it may..
But sometimes a person can get lucky. You forget the fact that the formula doesn't restart with each player, yet each item the refiner sees.

well i do understand what you guys mean, but yeah that was just pure crazy luck... was just breaking stuff here and there (several formals never making it to 7, lots of hoods and sandals never getting to +7) when this lone BLB suddenly got slotted and got to +8 just like that... used an enriched for the last leg, and voila, suhnbi has yet to fail me...

and you're forgetting the upper part of it Stabbity dear... (it's the more important part)

oh and IIRC the best card for it is a thana odium, so i'll be willing to throw that in the deal if you got a firelock in your +9 tidals
