Do You Lag?

As many of you know, a couple of months back we had our host change which of their routers heRO worked under.
Since then, we've noticed a lot of the troublesome lag has disappeared, but we are still interested to know if you still have any lag at all, and under what conditions.

If you lag, please post the following information in this thread:

• Type of lag: (Position lag, spikes, full blown lag? etc)
• Frequency: (How often does it happen? Constant? Rarely?)
• Times of occurrences: (What time frame does it occur? Server time is preferable. Please provide timezone otherwise.
• Player location: (Country will be fine. If a large one, specify West/East/North/South.)
• Player computer: (How old is it? How does it handle other programs? RAM and CPU specs if providable.)
• Tracert: (Info on how to conduct one can be found here. Although not necessary, it can help the investigation.)

Well, i lag, but i blame it on the isp of the cafe i play in. When i switched to cafes with better isp, i don't lag at all. I'm from indonesia.

The only problem for me is enormous quantity of position lags that happen all the time (and not only for me), otherwise it's /no1

All my lag can probably be attributed to Clear (my ISP) having issues, the pos-lag generated by AV, bolts, and anything with Knockback, and the fact that my box is from... I think 2005...
So yeah, even though I say I lag in game all the time, it probably isn't the server's fault.

Mind you, as nice as no skill-induced pos-lag would be, it would break kiting targets, which would make me sad.

only during the daytime of my local time after 12pm, lag dissapears after 6pm onward. so i will put my ISP to blame

I position lag A LOT mobbing. And it has cost me a lot of EXP. Its pretty annoying, and happens all the time. United States, EST. Bought the computer in 2008, at the time had all updated video cards/ram etc.

Since SVN I've been having problems logging on. I'll log in and freeze at char select. By the time I finally do get char select and pick a char it freezes till I get "Failed to connect to server". It took me a good 20 mins to log in just now.

?Type of lag: Login is the #1, pos lag like mag, lag spikes like mad.

?Frequency: Constant since update. I had a bit of spikes over the last week prior to update.

?Times of occurrences: I'm in central and it's been happenin all hours of the day and night.

?Player location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.

?Player computer: Pent 4 2.66 - 2gig ram - windows 7.

Note that this is ONLY happenin with heRO. Not with other programs nor other RO servers. I phoned Shaw and they said the problem isn't my connection personally.

EDIT: note that my RO is fully updated and patched.

After the SVN the lag does seem to worsen, but i still blame it on my ISP.

Frequency: Often (almost all the time)
Times of occurrences: GMT +10, my playing range can be from 8am to 3am.
Player location: South East Australia
Player computer: Performance computer (3GHz Quad core, 4GB RAM, GTX275, Windows 7 Ultimate)

I never experienced any lag at all and the gameplay was fantastic pre svn update back in August. My internet connection is stable and has not changed since the update.
