My favourite food ever is Peking duck, its really awesome.
I wonder if i am allowed to post my recepie for crispy honey chicken here? If neone wants it say so and i'll post it

anyways, i got a few pictures for this thread, hope you like it.

I like to watch the Travel channel and Food network for lots of shows about food! The apples are awesome! Were the faces put on physically, or by computer?

And i've tried Peking Duck, didn't like it much though. Not very much substance. Lots of the skin. I'm not allowed to have skin on my pseudo-diet. I like hearty meaty dishes though.

Hey, popos are an awesome dish in their own right. They have a nice lime sort of flavor. Although, I'm guessing these would be those rare sour apple poporings....*drool*

well, i am not quite sure about the measurements, i usually just make it to taste, anyways here goes .

You'd need:
-chicken fillet
** slice it thin

mix:
-plain flour (1 cup)
-corn starch (1cup)
-a bit of baking soda (proly half a teaspoon to a teaspoon)
-salt ( to taste)
and mix well
then add an egg and some chicken stock to make the mix
**add the chicken stock slowly as you mix it untill it becomes sticky mix and not clump up.
note: if you want you can add a bit of this thing called Vetsin, it is in truth consists mainly of MSG, but not necessary.

put the chicken in the mix and mix them till the chicken is coated with the mix. and put in fridge for a few minutes.

fry the chicken in hot oil until golden and crispy.

Oh try to keep turning them and dont let them sit, they stick if you do and they get an icky oily after taste.

use paper towel to remove excess grease.

The honey sauce:
-sugar (about 2/3 the ammount of honey used)
-honey
-water (about same the ammount of honey used, maybe a bit more)
heat until all the crystals disapear and the sauce begin to bubble, dont let the sauce caramelise and become too thick

make sure the pot or whatever you use to make the sauce is clean, and dont put too much water or the sauce will get runny.

mix the honey sauce with the chicken while hot.

Carne Asada Fries

a bit of greasy oily french fries and bits of carne asada with oozy cheese and guacomole and to top it off, sour cream! enough to clog any mans arteries...yummy.

note: if you dont have a fast metabolism like me.... be cautious when eating it! lol
