You need to register a specific character.

The part you quoted is there so, for instance, you can't play as Proto for team 1, then magically appear as Zoku on team two and claim "But they're different characters that are on different teams. You didn't say playerrr."


And it can totally be legal, a la Ban and jailing threads.
