Maintenance October 1st 2013 (New client and more)

This is a pre-warning that there will be a maintenance on October 1st 2013, around mid-day ~?early afternoon, exact time will be specified later.

What you need to know: there will be a patch released on that day, while the server is offline during the maintenance, when the server goes back online you will need to have patched to get in game.

This is because the server can only work with 1 client, and we will be upgrading to a newer client on that day. Only the current old client will work until the maintenance, and only the new client will work after the maintenance.

If you find yourself unable to log in game on that day, remember to launch your patcher. If someone you know is unable to log in game on that day please remind them to patch. Spread the word!

For those who are unable to patch, below are manual client download, as well as new installers along with instructions for each. For now these are available only for the purpose of pre-downloading them before october 1st, someone with these files will not be able to log in game until after the maintenance.

Clients only: pandoraonline.net/installers/new_heRO_clients.zip
- Unzip
- Place the 4 clients into the folder that contains your RO files, agree to replace the existing files when asked

- Once it's fully downloaded unzip the 3 files in the same folder
- Run the executable (.exe) file
- Follow the instructions on the screen

- Once it's fully downloaded run the file
- Follow the instructions on the screen, if your RO files are installed in a different path than the default one go select the folder that contains your RO files, then delete the "/RO" subfolder added in the path by default.

Reminder: if you download one of those and install it before October 1st you will not be able to log in the game until after the maintenance is done..


Aside from the client, the maintenance will also include changes to woe/bg (some of which are already listed in the reboot changelog, a styla update, a styla disguise quest for the month of october and a new special useful quest.

No that's the old one. The new one is not available in the main thread yet since it cannot connect to the game until october 1st.

I will however make it available here for people who want to download it ahead, see the links in the first post.
