Heroic Meeting!

I'm pitching this idea here, which is still at embryo state, altough I have mentionned it to a few people it's still not set in stone and I have no more information that those displayed at the moment.

The idea is a heRO real life meeting!

It would be held this summer in Montreal. I understand that the location (regardless of where it's held) will prevent a lot of people from coming, such is the reality of an International server.


But for those who can make it, I think this could be really fun!!! I would make cookies for everyone (lol) and we could take a group picture as a nice souvenir!


People from the Montreal area would have no trouble coming of course, but players from cities around such a Quebec City, Ottawa, Gramby, Sherbrooke and even Toronto or NYC could bus/drive in for a day or more! For people around the globe, Montreal is a fun place to visit if you were planing a vacation and didn't know where why not consider here? I would be happy to help anyone with planning (bus, plane, hotel, youth hostel, etc. Obviously, I'm not paying lol, but I could help you find the best deals)

Of course, everyone would have to leave any pvp/woe quarrel in-game, this is afterall a game, and I hope people would be friendly in person regardless if they are enemy in-game!

So, what does everyone think? Who would consider coming?

Update 1: The meeting will be held on Saturday August 11th from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Update 2: The heRO meeting will be held at the Mont-Royal parc.

I'll do my best to provided detailed informations on how to get there, if you are unsure about any part just ask me ^_^

First part, getting to the corner of "C?te Sainte-Catherine" and "Parc".



If you are using the subway, get off at "Mont-Royal" station on the Orange line.

Once you get to that station you will have a short walk to get to the corner of "C?te Sainte-Catherine" and "Parc". Follow the instructions on the maps below.



If you're coming by car, the overview map above should help you as well since it has most major street in the area. Those maps were taken from http://www.mapquest.ca, head there if you need further instructions on getting to that area.

Once there, head to the heRO meeting place, just follow the trail up and then head left, as indicated in the pictures below:





It's a short walk to the meeting place, if you can no longer see civilization, you probably went too far XD



Hopefully it doesn't rain! So far the weather says it will be mostly sunny ^_^

This concludes the little photo album of the meeting. There was enough food for an army so we didn't finish it all, wraps, cookies, veggies, chips, candies, omg.. overdose!! Lots of talking, lots of fun, let's do another meeting eventually!!

Yeah we tried it before, like almost 2 years ago, wasnt it fun?

We did have a small meeting at the start of the server, but not everyone was invited, this one is a bigger scale one ^_^
