The Great Light vs Dark Matches of 2015

Part 1: Monster Combat ~ Friday October 6, 2015 at 8:00 PM, and Saturday October 7 at 2:00 PM.
Part 2: Item Gathering ~ Sunday November 22 at 8:00 PM for the dark side and Monday November 23 at 8:00 PM for the light side.
Part 3: Crystal Challenge ~ Monday December 14th at 8:00 PM for Light Allegiance and Tuesday December 15th at 8:00 PM for Dark Allegiance!
Part 3: PVP ~ Saturday January 2, 2016, at 8:00 PM Server Time
Part 4: Mass Battle ~ Saturday January 2, 2016, at 8:00 PM Server Time

Event Details

Part 1, Monster Combat, consists of the allegiance fighting several waves of mobs as a team. The allegiance that defeats all 15 waves in the fastest time will win the round. These are done at separate times for each allegiance (The allegiances both do not fight the waves at the same time).

Part 2, Item Gathering, entails going through several maps to collect the specified items. These are done at separate times for each allegiance. Whichever team manages to bring in the items in the lowest time wins. The maps will have GM-summoned monsters.

Part 3, Crystal Challenge, consists an allegiance traversing a dungeon to find and destroy a total of 5 crystals. The allegiance that shatters them all in the fastest time wins. These are done at separate times for each allegiance, and the maps will have GM-summoned monsters.

Part 4, PVP, involves the allegiances sending their best players to fight. There are 3 rounds total, consisting of a 3 vs 3 fight, then a 4 vs 4 fight, and finally 5 vs 5 as tie breaker.

Part 5, Mass Battle, will be similar to the Trial of Heroes' one. Both allegiances will fight until all players from one side are defeated.

The twist to this event is that prizes are all based on participation. For each round won, players will receive prizes, with a final prize at the end for the winning allegiance. The final prize will only be given to those that participated enough times (Minimum of 2).


For example, Light Allegiance won 2 rounds, while Dark won 3. Light will receive the individual rewards for the two rounds, while dark will receive rewards for the 3 different rounds, plus the main prize. Additionally, both sides will receive a participation reward.

Requirements to Join

• Participants must be Level 89+ to join.
• Participants must be of either Light or Dark Allegiance (Sorry, neutrals).
• No sign up on forum is necessary. Just be there on the date and time of the event.
  
  

Rules

• A player may only join one allegiance for the remainder of the series of events. They cannot, for example, do a round for Light Side and then play for Dark, even if they use another account.
• Misbehaving players will be punished and may even be banned from the remainder of the competition.
• Monster Trial: Buffing monsters is prohibited.
• Item Collection: Before beginning, all players must have the "etc" inventory empty, except for items required for skills and the like.
• PVP: Outside buffs are not allowed.
• Mass Battle: Killing players of your own allegiance is not allowed.
• Please be patient, these events take time and accidents happen.
• This is a team effort, so please play as such, don't go running off on your own.

• Participation Prize: 1 Damp Card Album, 10 Old Green Boxes, 3 Allegiance Points

• 10 Large HP Increase Potion, 10 Large SP Increase Potion

Crystal Challenge Prizes:

• Participation Prize: 5 Rough Enriched Ore, 1 Token of Siegfried, 1 Gold, 3 Allegiance Points
• 10 Enriched Ore
• 3 Delicious Candy (+6 All Stats for 60 Minutes)
• 1 Orcus Emblem or 4 Ice Scales
  

PVP Prizes:

• Participation Prize: 25 Battleground Points, 100 Light White and 50 Light Blue Potions, 3 Allegiance Points
• 75 Battleground Points
• 20 Light Concentration/Awakening/Berserk Potion (Either), 15 Box of Resentment, 15 Box of Drowsiness
• 10 Speed Potions, 10 Yggdrasil Berries (And 1 Skull Hat for the winners that actually fought)
  

Mass Battle Prizes:

• Participation Prize: 25 Battleground Points, 100 Light White and 50 Light Blue Potions, 5 Allegiance Points
• 10 Allegiance Points, 50 Battleground Points
• 1 Old Card Album
• 3 +10 Stat Foods of the winner's choice (STR, AGI, VIT, DEX, INT, LUK)
  

Final Prize:

If the player participated in at least 2 of the events:
• Participation Prize: 4 Bloody Branches, 5 Assumptio Scrolls
  Winning Allegiance's Prize:
• 8 Bloody Branches, 10 Assumptio Scrolls and 10 Magnificat Scrolls
  
  If the player participated in at least 3 of the events:
• Participation Prize: 10 Enriched Ore
  Winning Allegiance's Prize:
• 1 Enriched Oridecon or 1 Enriched Elunium
• 1 Event Bag and either 2 Old Card Album or 1 Hat Voucher
  
  If the player participated in 4 or all of the events:
• Participation Prize: 1 of any released V4P headgear (Except Pandaring Backpack)
  Winning Allegiance's Prize:
• 3 Weapon Repair Scrolls
• 2 of Any released V4P Headgear (Pandaring Backpack cannot be chosen)
• Perfect +1 Refine on an existing Allegiance Upper Headgear (Blessed/Cursed Helm, Deviling/Angeling Hat, Angeling/Deviling Tower, Light/Dark Stylish Cap, etc). The maximum is +7 to +8.

- If for example, a player participated in 3 of the events, they get their 3-event prize and the 2 event one.
- Rules, Prizes, etc, subject to update and change without warning.
- Although this is posted on the Chronicles' "Narrator" forum account, this is not an RP event.

Allegiance Competition - Monster Combat Trial

Friday November 6, 2015, at 8:00 PM server time

• This event consists of the allegiance fighting several waves of mobs as a team.
• The allegiance that defeats the most waves finishes all 15 waves in the fastest time will wind the round.
• Those participating will be divided in parties. These will be named "Dark1", "Dark2" (Or "Light1", etc), and so on, depending on the amount of people that join.
• The Allegiances do not both fight waves at the same time. The trials are separate, and at different times. When one allegiance finishes their trial, the other will begin.
• One minute will be given before every wave to prepare a quick strategy.
• The difficulty of the monster waves increases per round. The increment in difficulty varies.
• The battles will be waged on different terrains every round (or at least, every few rounds).
• A maximum of 3 mass resurrections will be provided every wave. If all players wipe after these, the trial ends and the score will be the amount of waves completed.
• Storage, Heal and Repair will be provided in between waves. Make sure not to go over 90% during the fights!
• If you disconnect and want to return, PM the GM hosting immediately.
• This is a team effort, so please play as such, don't go running off on your own.

Dark Side took around 1 Hour and 40 minutes, and beat 15 waves! It was late, however, so we decided to stop. Light Side's monster fights will be at 1PM server time tomorrow. If the light side players can beat the 15 waves faster than dark side did, they win the round!
