De-levelling

Is it possible to add in future quests the ability for players to de-level to a lower level upon completion? I think this will infuriate the Lvl 99s but it will help the 'Party' issues that everyone has been talking about. I think the Pros outrank the Cons.

Why is it bad:
- You level down making you need to go level again (No Pain, No Game)

Why is it good:
- more sociability
- forces the veterans to party up to get their levels back
- more parties with people wanting to level
- hopefully remove the rift between newbies and veterans
- you only level down upon completion of quest (You receive a reward and punishment at the same time)

That's actually a neat idea.

It can be something like a second (third, ...) rebirth, and might bring new bonuses along with ability to level anew. Albeit that'd still need quite a lot of balancing and thinking.

Not sure about giving new bonuses but giving out limited edition gears and hats might entice players to level down and would not damage the balancing as much as the bonuses since gears need to be equipped for their stats to actually work.

If this were temporary (ie: I could return to my original level by talking to the NPC again), I would do it voluntarily. Sometimes I'm not doing anything, see a low level party trying to form, would love to help, but can't because all my characters would break share.
And it would be even better if my portion of the exp went back to be shared amongst the party.

I imagine the valkyrie could even come up with some sort of reward point system for those who did this to help new players form parties.
