Where did the Ninjas go?

So, SvN is finally updated from the prehistoric, and Ninja class was one of the most widely anticipated part of the update of all times... when it was released, Namin? saw them absolutely everywhere. But then, where did they all go now? Gunslinger is an expanded class too, and indeed there are a few people who uses them lots and consistently, but seems like Ninja did not get the same treatment, hm?

I deleted my ninja today, since I came here to WoE and in WoE they are useless, at least for me.

ninjas are stealthy so you probably don't see them because they're hiding in the shadows near you

It's just sort of something that happens in RO. When something new comes out everyone jumps on the "OMGITZNEW" bandwagon and does the new quest, plays the new class, or levels in the new area. Eventually people get bored and move back to their main characters and play how they always play. When Taekwon first came out to RO in general there was a huge mass of them as well. Eventually they all quit and only the people who really liked Taekwon played them. You will see the same thing once Homunc come out (on this server at least). Everyone and their mother will be making alchemists in order to try out homuncs (unless they have on another server already). In a few weeks most will never be seen again.

I played a ninja when it first came out and it was fun. Though a lot of players don't really know how to lvl or play a ninja to its full extent so they aren't used as often as the other classes which have been around forever.

i love both my ninja and my gunslinger - but i have a lot of problems, so i don't get to play them as much as i would like to

Oh how sadly mistaken you are.
Fighting a good Ninja in WoE is by far the most frustrating thing in the world.

Irritation is all I pvp for. My ninja is levelling, but I've got so much on my plate as it is: monk, pally, smithy, ninja, work, and rl. You'll see Dr. McNinja around in pvp once he gets higher though.

Ninjas are not as strong as people keep claiming them to be, they are good pvm players and that's where I think they just shine best...people need to get over that.

Wind kunais thrown at me by someone in LW in one woe were more like annoying than anything else the last woe I played in as it kept me from continuing spellbreaking, dispelling, HD locking, etc. They only did about 100 dmg, this is certainly not the way Ninjas should be going, they are meant to be killers not annoying pests like sages and priests can be.

Well, a GOOD ninja, can hit you with a Fuuma Shuriken for about 6k.

Cicada is very annoying, and can be easily maintained against 3-4 people. Throw in some status armor and the right magic spell, and you have 4 dead people.

This was the case from my old server. There were only 3 (that I can recall) people that used ninjas as their main. Two magic, one Shadow. All three knew what they were doing, and wow does it suck to fight them.

Also, one of them is on this server now. So have fun with that.
