K so I cant do the no moniter thing... so maybe I can hook up a work laptop to my computer. Anybody know how to do that or what kind of connectors i need etc...?

hmm I've done that before... just can't remember that well....

Use the plug that you use to connect your moniter to your computer and use that to connect the computer to your laptop.. which should give you a temporary monitor
