RE: Failed to connect

You may be using an old version of RO.

The RO patcher has some issues, it crashes after the patch has downloaded past its limit.

You can download a newer kRO Sakray Version

Or

Patch it Manually

Or

IMO the Best option, Download heOR Full installer form here.

Under the "Other Links" seccion.

RE: Failed to connect

That sounds more like your internet connection rather than an RO thing.

"Make love to me Snake! I want you!"
"Duude!"
"You're supposed to hit her"
"Damn right I'm gonna hit that!"

RE: Failed to connect

It does sound like an internet problem.

Check your firewall.

Also make sure you got the June installer. It's the first one in the download section.

Make sure you have an anti-virus and anti-spyware, run them both in case your computer is infected. Also, if you have downloads running, use a program that you can put a cap on, otherwise it may use your whole connection.

If you can do it with ease, sometimes a good old format of your computer can help, just make sure to save all the data you need first.

Also, about RO, I recommend only have 1 server per folder, putting them all in one can get messy.

RE: Failed to connect

that to! i cant get my firewall to come down. when i downloaded heRO (the one that worked) it started outsaying it was going to be 1 hour untill it was complete but it turned out to be 7 hours. anyways, what I do have is anti-virus, Im almost certain my computer is not infected, and when u said "putting them all in one can get messy.", does that mean iI have to make another Gravity folder to?

RE: Failed to connect

Well, I always suggest that people make a different folder for each server, so you could have:

Program Files/Gravity/heRO/ [all files needed to play heRO]
Program Files/Gravity/abcRO/ [all files needed to play abcRO]
Program Files/Gravity/123RO/ [all files needed to play 123RO]
etc.

Of course that takes more space, but normally the servers will all run fine.
