Zodiac wings aren't underpowered at all considering they're actually pretty easy to get AND they have a slot. Don't know if you know but when you put a card in wings the effect gets doubled =3 Plus, you can put either a headgear OR an armor card in them because they occupy both an armor and lower headgear slot.

._. I thought the Flower Wings were harder and those aren't even slotted.

Yep, i knew about that but still.. seems to me it needs more something.. it needs more.. stats?
What I have in mind is that it needs to have a field of specialization or something.. like 'Zodiac Wings of Attack' means it has attack stats, but less/none of the other stats.. something like that, you get my point <.<.
I mean come on, the stats of the current zodiac stone are really low (to me atleast), atk+2 def+2 matk+2%? you'll barely feel the difference :<

When you give any wings a slot, they immediately have opportunity to be amazing.. think of cards that can be doubled to provide excellent bonuses.

Porcellio= 25 atk x2!, any stat modifier (observation for example), cards with resistance (marc), HP/SP mods (peco peco card, Roda Frog) they all get doubled in effect.

Plus, the elemental resistances are not too shabby, i think the big bonus of the wings are the slot, personally, which can be used in amazing ways which arguably make them one of the best wings in the game.

Actually, I remember someone told me that the double card effect on the zodiacs was a bug, so I fear that it may be fixed some time later on. And what happens then? :<.

Although you were right that the biggest bonus is on the slot, but its not really that good sometimes. For instance, I have a ghostring card, I wouldn't want to put it on a zodiac stone, i'd rather use a glittering jacket. Not to mention that it also doubles negative effects. (-10 def from porcellio card :<.)

To ease concerns, the double effect has been discussed and from my understanding, will not be changed.

Yes, there are only some cards that would be a good idea to use for a double effect, there are MANY reasons why a GR would be a horrible choice to slot in any wings (identifyable to other players, not to mention it wouldnt make a darn bit of difference).

What i did reference was the specific cards that WOULD grant bonuses - Roda frog is very nice for players looking for more sp (monks) peco peco for classes with lots of HP (priests/pally), Observation (mage classes).??Yes, you cant take advantage of many cards, but that isnt the point.. its the cards you can double effectively that make a big difference. 20% more hp from peco peco on a pally with base 19000 HP, 100 more sp for asura strike from Roda Frog. These can make a huge difference in both PvM and PvP.

So, yes, there are cards that wouldnt have any better use in zodiac wings, but there are others that are possibly hax, and I am very thankful for it

I don't think that he's argueing that they're specifically underpowered, just that the stats are scattered around so much it's hard to make use of them, that's my opinion if them anyway. And on the slot thing, the light and dark wings get a slot later on too.

And I'm going to disagree on the wings being easy

Not hard, for sure, but definatly not easy either.

Not hard, for sure, but definatly not easy either.

The wings get their slot as early as 2nd or 3rd gen (Don't remember which)

I admit the stats on the stats on the Zodiacs are a bit wonky, but I never put much thought into it.

On the easy thing, I guess it was more of a "Well, that wasn't so bad" thing. >_> I think flower wings are harder even.
