Ever seen "@whosell"?

I was just throwing this suggestion out there. I've seen a server that had a "@whosell" command. It was extremely helpful with so many shops to search through. How it worked that you type something like "@whosell Clip" or "@whosell 2607" (Item numbers worked better due to spelling and slotted gears). Then it would display a list of all the Vernders with that Item in there shop, display the price for each shop, and there coordinates. Even mark the shops (cheapest in Red other in Yellow) on your map if they are on the same map that you preformed the search in. I think it really helps the Eco get moving. I liked it cause it like more items become valuable. Example someone could find immediately if someone selling Herbs for Pots, or drops for Headgear or Quest (trunks, foods, or smaller drops).

But yea just a suggestion. I like it and I think it could help more than harm anything. I also ain't sure if it was custom to the one old server only and if it's avalible to others. But I thought I'd ask. Thanks.... ^_^

Yeah thanks for the suggestion, it's been mentioned already however. I'm not sure if this comes coded in for future eAthena SVN, but in our current svn it's not available unfortunately. Will look more into it if I have some time.

I think it's not a part of eA but some private servers coded it for themselves.

it isn't that difficult really to create that command if need be, as you can base it off of the @who command which tells you player info like levels and guild info and class info, so instead of that info, just modify the variables that are accessed to access merchant vending info and price info. the game engine itself should provide a way of sorting the information and highlight the best deals as well =)

Yeah probably not that difficult, but on a scale it's more complicated than just enabling an existing command. We'll see if we ever get around to it.

Or maybe you can try to find an already working and done script/client somewhere else and ask the author if you can put it here. Less work for the GM team
