/Patches/Patchlist.txt reloaded

Hi there,

I DID do a forum research, I know there is a thread to this topic and I DID do the steps as they helped before.

I have the same issue, whenever I want to start heRo patcher I get the message "Failed to get /patches/patchlist.txt". I redownloaded Full install and Mini Patcher (June edition). After running both I still got the error. So I tried updating Sakray.exe which gives me the error "??? ????? ???" and closes.
Growing angry I wanted to uninstall and completely re-install HeRo. I got the error "uninstall.exe doesn't work". So I went the rough way and deleted the Gravity Folder.
Then I ran HeRo full installer. Then I ran the June mini installer, which stops at ~17% and sais HeRo.grf contains invalid data (Error 21FC).

I actually can run Ro, i can log on to my account and 2 of my cars are working. But my chars in Pront and Geff keep crashing (after loading, so I see my char in the city but before the other chars or NPCs are loaded it crashes)
If needed I can post a screenshot of my Ro folder and copy the error i get when I crash.

Make sure your firewall or antivirus are not blocking our patcher.

If that doesnt work, for now you can get the latest hero.grf in that post:

Remember to change the file neoncube.file, it's located in your RO folder, read more in the topic I just linked you to for more info.

Done downloading and changing neoncube,
My Ro works fine now, although i still can't update... and I get DCs now, yet i don't know where they come from...

Can you post a screenshot of your RO folder?

Also can you open the file neoncube.file (you'll find it in your RO folder) you can open it with notepad, it will contain a number, post it here please.

The number is 57, I did set it according to the thread you linked to...

Newly I can't connect to the server... I assume that error to be on my net's side, though...

Acutally this sounds alot like my error, I cant update heRO anymore and now it is grav erroring.

Errm, the sdata.grf is there, on the right side. lol

@topic - I had that patchlist.txt problem too, reinstalling HeRO patcher worked though, I don't have another suggestion x.x

Did you try updating sakray with alternative methods? http://pandoraonline.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=2404

I didn't bother about Sakray yet, focussing on my HeRo issues...
Pandora once stated that Sakray should have no impact on HeRo patcher, however, i'll try to update my Sakray ASAP

Ok this is what fixed it for me.

Firstly = Update Sakray and Ragnarok.

Secondly = Uninstall heRO

Thirdly = Download New HeRO mini installer

Forthly = reinstall heRO

Fifthly = Do a river dancer hoping the gods of gaming will help you in your plight. (Do not skip the step)

Sixthly = Shut off any programs that are using the net. Then update heRO. Don't meddle with it, its very sensitive. Like seriously just stay of the internet till its done.

and thats what fixed it for me.
