Hollow Poring: KS

Since Ktull and other MvPs that require items to summon are protected by the "No KSing allowed until the summoner asks for help or leaves the MVP", does the same apply for Hollow? And the server wide announcement isn't helping either if Hollow is under the same rule. The announcement is kinda shouting "HOLLOW IS UP, GOGOGO KS IT"

Do Not Kill Steal
Do not hit a monsters that belongs to another players. MVP are FFA. For the complete description of KS, refer to the Report section of the forum (report section says nothing either)

RE: Hollow Poring: KS

Hollow Poring is FFA, hense the global broadcast when summoned.

It's sort of an event monster, an event activated by players instead of GMs and it should be shared with everyone.

Currently it is summonable every 2 hours, after the halloween quest it will be summonable every 24 hours, so randomly we'll have Hollow Poring summoning, which hopefully will be fun.

RE: Hollow Poring: KS

I'm curious then, does this apply to Ktull then now, or what?
I'm confused now, did we implement the Quest/Event MVP rule where you can't mess with them unless you ask or quit or not?

In other words, is Ktull FFA? I remember this discussion, I just don't know if any changes in rules were implemented or not. x_x

RE: Hollow Poring: KS

I think it's a bit unfair to make quest summons FFA.

Someone actually had to work to get the items to summon that monster =/ and yet just anyone can walk up and kill it? Then the person has to to get the items AGAIN and wait only for there to be the possibility to be KSed yet again???

I don't use @main. Do not ask for me there

RE: Hollow Poring: KS

Yes, someone has to work to summon the monster.
But guess what, someone have to work to summon treasure chests by increasing the economy of a castle.

In both case that work can be stolen by other players, thats part of the 'player vs player' part of this mmorpg.

Thats how I see it :x

Heh, I honestly don't care if Quest MvP's are FFA or not, I just want to know if they are or not. I remember ages ago there was discussion on this, I'm just asking for confirmation if there were changes or not.

RE: Hollow Poring: KS

The only thing I oppose is "half protected" type of thing... either it's totally protected that under all situation if someone is against him, no one else touches it, OR, it's FFA at all times. Most of the suggestion in the other thread is something about "half protected" where you count to 30 for Ktullanux or some silly things like that. Sounds great on paper, it's very low on the application level.

Personally, I think that all quest MVPs ought to be FFA. Quest MVP is a type of MVP, thus they're still MVP and ought to be FFA to me.

yes.

if you summon ktull, make sure you can kill it lol. otherwise wtf are you gonna do if your mvp kills someone else just cuz you fail? people gonna wait for 10 hours while some noob yells "DONT KILL THAT KTULL HES MINE"? thats not even a realistic policy to implement. all mvps should have FFA, and like ayu said no weird grey areas in rules.
