Good builds for a Gunslinger?

Hey guys, was just wondering if any of you pro's got some builds you would like to share?

I like using revolvers and the skill desperado, so I was hoping to find a build based around that.

Here is what I found on IROWiki:

Quote: DEX/AGI

????* STR: 1
????* AGI: 99 (Base)
????* VIT: 1
????* INT: 9
????* DEX: 120-140 (99 Base)
????* LUK: 1

DEX/VIT/INT Desperado

????* STR:11+16 (leftover points used for weight limit, bless, superior boots)
????* AGI:1+13 (agility up)
????* VIT:79+1 (with superiors and peco armor, this will bring the total HP to just under 10K)
????* INT:60+12 (w/bless, needed for regening quickly)
????* DEX:92+28 (w/bless, aoa, and 2 nimble clips)
????* LUK:9+7 (put the 9 here rather than agi)

I am kind of leaning towards the first build (DEX/AGI) since it seems targeted more towards the use of revolvers, but it doesn't really look like the greatest build ever.Icon_cry

Not sure on the AGI.

I have seen a few interesting DEX/VIT/INT builds for mobbing, and then Desperado builds, though.

Do you remember any of those builds? Or have links to them?

I do not.
It was a few days ago, and late at night. XD

Shoving "ro gunslinger build" into a search engine like Google should bet you enough results, both on info sites and server forums to have a look at what there is.

I do believe that full DEX is pretty much always required, though. XD

It certainly is useful for locating builds in areas that are too explansive to check otherwise.
Eg, forums.

Well after searching around, I didn't really come up with much. I think I will go with the Dex/Vit/Int build, and whenever I find the build thats right for me, I can always do a reset=)

RE: Good builds for a Gunslinger?

any gunslinger build starts with dex. Depending on how you proceed will depend on the rest of your build. If your going for desperado, you'll want int/vit since desperado does consume a great deal of SP and vit so you don't killed when surrounded. You'll also need some agi to to minimize the cool down time between desperado so that you can fire one off after another or else it defeats the whole point. However, most gunslingers start with a basic rapid shower build and evolve from there. Whether it be to a Gatling gun to shotgun, it all starts with dex. The question is, how hard and how fast do you wantta hit?

RE: Good builds for a Gunslinger?

The best advice I have for any gunslinger who is serious about being efficient is to delete it and make a hunter. It sounds mean, but gunslingers just don't stand up to serious competition in my opinion. If you must stay with it, though, this is the general build I enjoyed when I played mine:

Get Desperado AND Full Buster for skills.

You'll weapon swap between a Garrison[2], and some Shotgun (I can't remember which one).

Stats would be something like this:

STR 16+4 (just for carry weight)
AGI 1+1
VIT 72+2
INT 58+2
DEX 99+31 (with Observation carded Wings, and +3 Dex Food)
LUK 1+7

With near-max dex (even before you're high level) you can one shot a lot of monsters with around 10k damage with Full Buster (with an endow). Then, once Full Buster isn't fast enough anymore, you move to Desperado mobbing.

But, seriously, make a Hunter.

- Astaroth 99/70 Creator - Dawkins 99/70 Creator
- Exemplar 98/69 Paladin - Equitas 80/47 Paladin
- Mephistopheles 95/65 Lord Knight - Shogo Kawada 97/67 Stalker
