Wings acquired from the NPC '''Novice Emmy'''! These wings are Novice class only, and may only be equipped if you are part of the '''Light Allegiance''' or the '''Dark Allegiance'''. If the user is of the Novice Class, they get an additional +10 to all stats.

==How to get your Novice Wings==

1. Obtain Base Level 10, and find Emmy in the Novice Training Grounds. She's found at (81, 83) on all of the different monster maps. Ask about what a Super Novice is.

2. She will ask you to hand over 200 of your Novice Potions to continue her training. Give them to her.

3. She then asks you for two lists of items. We will tackle one list at a time, since you cannot give items for the second list until you are done the first. She will also take items as you collect them (meaning, you don't need to give the full amount of items right away) to help you out. The first list of items are as follows:

*40x Feather of Bird (Picky, Condor)
*100x Clover (Lunatic, Fabre)
*10x Grasshopper Leg (Rocker)
*75x Feather (Lunatic, Picky, Fabre)
*50x Fluff (Fabre)
*20x Talon (Condor)

4. Once you bring the first set of items to Emmy, it's time to get started on the second set of items. Most of these items are not found normally in the Training Grounds-- instead you need to find something called the Magic Hole. The magic hole is an invisible NPC that will teleport at intervals, meaning it is never in the same spot for too long. However, it announces when it's going to move, and it can only be found on the second map- the one with Condor, Picky and Roda Frog.

5. A dialogue box with the Novice Hole will prompt you to throw items into it. Failed attempts will give you Stones, and successful attempts yield the items you want. Again, Novice Emmy will take stones without you needing to get the full quantity of 100.

*1 Rainbow carrot + 66 Shells = Rainbow Shell
*5 Resin + 5 Mushroom Spore = Orange Gooey Mushroom
*1 Milk + 2 Strawberry = Sweet Milk
*4 Arrows + 4 Green Herbs = 4 Wind Arrows
*2 Iron ore + Nothing = Iron ('''Note:''' Alternatively, you could kill Chonchons for them-- they drop full Iron at a low rate)
*3 Empty Bottles + 17 Apple = Apple Juice

Your end totals are thus:
*45 Empty Bottles + 255 Apples = 15 Apple Juice
*1 Rainbow Carrot + 66 Shells = 1 Rainbow Shell
*20 Resin + 20 Mushroom Spore = 4 Orange Gooey Mushroom
*3 Milk + 6 Strawberries = 3 Sweet Milk
*12 Arrows + 12 Green Herbs = 12 Arrows of Wind
*20 Iron Ore + Nothing = 10 Iron Ore

As well as 100 Stones. Make these as you see fit. Again, any combination that is not one of the above will yield a Stone.

6. Bring all these items to Novice Emmy. She says you're not done, and you need Accreditation from the Trunk Lady. She can be found South West of Emmy, hiding in the bushes at (65, 45)

7. The Trunk Lady will give you accreditation if you give her various trunks (Obtained from Willow Monsters on the second Novice Training Grounds map). Each trunk is worth different amounts of points, and you need 100 total. The point breakdown is as follows:

*Solid Trunk = 1 point
*Barren Trunk = 1 point
*Fine-grained Trunk = 2 points
*Trunk = 5 points

8. Once you give the Trunk Lady 100 points worth of trunks, she then asks you for 30,000z.

9. Once you have paid the Trunk Lady, return to Novice Emmy. She rewards you with your wings!

Miner Jack hasn't seen his friend in a long time. He entered the mine and hasn't been seen since! Journey to the depths of the Einbech Mine to find his friend and give poor old Jack some peace of mind(or don't!).

1.Talk to Miner Jack outside the mine in Einbech town. He will tell you about his friend.

2.Go to Einbech Dungeon Lvl 2 and find his friend. He will tell you to inform Jack that he's alright and give you a Glove[0] as proof of such.

3.Return to Miner Jack and you will be given a choice.

Choose "he is alive" and you will recieve 5 Light Allegiance Points.

Choose "he is dead" and you will recieve 5 Dark Allegiance Points.

Light/Dark Allegiance

A big part of playing is about becoming a hero and we wanted to emphasize this with our system, which fits perfectly with the server name. Regardless of the side you choose, you can be heroic!

==Getting started==

First, you should decide on which allegiance you want to join, to register with either side (Light or Dark), talk to the allegiance NPC located in Prontera by the Tool shop.

 For those interested to learn more about the '''story''' aspect of the Allegiance Systems, or want to know more about the Light Allegiance/Dark Allegiance, refer to the [[Chronicle of the Heroes- heRO Roleplay]].

 You earn 5 Allegiance points for joining, what are those points? We'll get to that later. Joining a side allows you to participate in the special Light VS Dark events and quests and eventually earn heroic gears. I'll detail a list of the quests later in this post. As for events, they are held from time to time by the GMs either in-game or in forums.

==The Allegiance Points==

You get them by participating in events or doing quests. The more points you have the higher hero you are. You'll need those points for various things in game, but you never "spend" them, they just keep getting higher.

 Here's a list of what you can currently do with Allegiance Points, more stuff to come.

*30 Points : Can wear the clothing palette "Evil Zone" (Dark) or "Sky View" (Light).
*40 Points : Can enter the 4th level of Geffen Dungeon.
*50 Points : Can participate in the monthly event "Trials of Heroes" (TOH)
*75 Points : Can make tames for Heroic Pet (Angeling or Deviling)
*85 Points : Can start the "Tower" Quest.
*100 Points : Can start the "Helm Quest" (to make Blessed Helm or Cursed Helm)

 What if you earn points of the opposite allegiance? That actually results in loosing points of your own allegiance. For example if you are Dark side and have 15 Dark points, and you earn 5 Light points you'll end up with 10 Dark points. So you cannot try to get both allegiance.

 Since most quests can only be done once, you'll want to be careful when doing a quest or choosing which points you want, because once lost, they cannot be retrieved, being a hero is also about making the right decisions.

 All your characters on the same account will have the same Allegiance and same amount of Allegiance Points. If you have more than 1 account you can however make them different side.

==The Allegiance Quests==

When talking to the Allegiance NPC, you'll notice we used 2 very distinctive colors for Light related words (a sorta peach/beige) and Dark related words (dark purple), if you see those colors again you can be sure that the NPC has something to do with the Light VS Dark system.

 The Allegiance Quests are a collection of quests that can help you earn Light and Dark points for the [[Light/Dark Allegiance- heRO Roleplay|Allegiance System]] in heRO. Their starting location and difficulty rating are all different. See that link for more details about the Light/Dark Allegiances, related customs and the heRO roleplay.

 There are other seasonal quests, such as one only available during the Christmas holiday and another around Halloween. Multiple one-time events throughout heRO server may give you allegiance points as well! Be sure to be online to play often, and you will surely meet up with them!

==The Light and Dark events==

Some special events are another way to earn Allegiance Points. To know more about the previous events you can check the various chapters of the hero story. GMs will try to advertise Light VS Dark event in advance but they could also make some spontaneous events.

 One regular heroic event is called the "[[Trials of Heroes]]" it is held once a month and is the only way to earn some special allegiance gears.

 Sometimes events are also held while following the roleplay aspect of the two different allegiances. While they may not always reward Allegiance Points, they formulate an important part of heRO's Allegiance system. Check the [[Chronicle of the Heroes- heRO Roleplay]] for more details.

==The Hero Gears==

The Wings from Trials of Heroes can "evolve" as you participate and succeed in [[Trials of Heroes]], meaning your wings will grow in strength as you become a higher hero. All ToH Wings are obtainable in the Trials of Heroes event. To gain a higher evolution wing you trade your previous one. (For example to earn Mini Angelic Wings you must trade Angeling Wings) You can only start a new heROic wing if you have obtained one 5th Generation heROic wing.

 No players may ever have heRO gears from both Light and Dark Allegiance at any point in time.

Fishing is a custom activity on heRO. It allows you to do exactly what it sounds like - fish up some delicious fish that can heal both HP and SP depending on what you get.

To start fishing, you need to have completed a short item collection quest and assembled a fishing rod. This fishing rod and baits (which you can buy from the fisherman NPC only at the beginner's spot) plus having completed the quest are required to go fishing.

To start the quest take the west exit from Prontera. Then go once more west using the northwestern exit. Go to the end of the southern-facing peninsula on the north part of the map.

After completing the fishing quest you can start fishing. The normal fishing spot is just below the fishing man in the water. It's invisible so try hovering your mouse near the beach until you find it. Fishing requires bait which you can buy from the fisherman.

You can buy many packages for bait, but the most economical is 100 baits for 15000z.
