The participant who chooses this trial will have to simultaneously collect up to five unique items with various quantities while being pitted together into a closed map (clone of Alberta city) with special monsters with special drops and NPCs who will trade these drops for certain items. These special drops are usually collected by an NPC at the end of the trial. Due to the nature of this trial, it is impossible to pre-gather the items. 20 minutes is usually imposed for players to gather all the required items.

Out of the five unique items, three of them are usually dropped by monsters roaming around the map while the other two are obtained by trading away monster drops to NPCs. Other specifics of the trial include no killstealing and no dropping or sharing items. Players are also required to set @autoloot to 100% at all times during this trial. Resurrections are automated every 1 minute.

  • Successfully gathering the right amount of an asked item earns you 10 points. Fictional example: the list asks for 10 apples and you gathered 10 (or more).
  • Successfully gathering half or more than half of the amount of an asked item earns you 5 points. Fictional example: the list asks for 10 apples and you got between 5 and 9.
  • Successfully gathering less than half the amount of an asked item earns you 2 points. Fictional example: the list asks for 10 apples and you got between 1 and 4.
  • Failure to gather at least 1 of an asked item earns you 0 points.

Strategy

Probably the easiest monster to deal with in this map, therefore this monster should not be a problem. ToH Baphomet should one of the player's main priority to hunt if Goat Cheese is needed as Goat Milk drops at a high chance.

Note

Oddly enough, ToH Baphomet has an entry of Dark Soul Strike made to be casted after it uses Body Relocation, a skill which it does not even have. Due to this, that entry of Dark Soul Strike will never function. This is theorized to be a remnant of a previous ToH Baphomet version or a remnant of the original Baphomet itself left on this version of ToH Baphomet due to an oversight by the developer.

Due to its Ghost 3 property, it is highly crucial to bring a ghost elemental weapon or ghost elemental ammunition if players were to hunt ToH Thanatos. Caution is advised as ToH Thanatos has the ability to stun if fought in melee range.

Its high INT along with strong magic attacks are things to watch out for. Meteor Storm can be easily avoided if ToH Ifrit is killed while being kited but beware of its capability to induce Stun.

Strategy

It is generally best to maintain a good distance when killing it if the killing method is via long-range physical attacks such as Falcon Assault, Double Strafing and Spiral Spear to avoid being silenced. Alternatively, players can bring Green Potions or silence immunity to get handle silence. If ToH Bacsojin is near other targets, consider killing it first as it has the capability to heal ally monsters for more than 2,000HP with its high INT and maxed Heal level.

Strategy

Magic users might have trouble dealing with this as Anti Magic may have 100% uptime due to lasting 30 seconds and is refreshed every 10 seconds at 10% chance, on top of its already high MDef. It is advised to bring Staff of Piercing or Necromancer-carded weapon to deal with its high MDef, while keeping this away from nearby ToH Bacsojins to avoid them from healing this mob.

Strategy

Physical attackers are advised to deal normal auto-attacks to ToH Turtle General a few times before spamming skills to undo its Mirror Image, as any physical attacks will miss when Mirror Image is up.

Other Tips

  • This trial should only be taken by players who are able to quickly dispatch monsters of various elemental property with up to about 6,000HP.
  • Consider bringing a Joker-carded accessory or using Steal to maximize farming potential.
  • It is generally best to be able to determine multiple key targets before starting to have an overall better farming proficiency.
  • Bring as much SP recovery items as possible as players are to expect farming obstruction due to lack of SP throughout the 20 minute long trial.
