Class Rebalance
There are a few small class-rebalance changes in this patch involving Gunslinger and Alchemist.
Gunslinger Changes
- New Divine Sphere (holy elemental Grenade sphere), Spooky Sphere (ghost elemental Grenade Sphere) and Plain Sphere (neutral elemental Grenade Sphere) are now available in any Ammo shop that sold the previous spheres
- Magazine Dealers across Alberta, Einbroch, Izlude, Caerulia, Prontera, and Faeheim who previously created Bullet Cases and Sphere Packs will create Sphere Packs for the 3 new spheres
- Ground Drift used with the new spheres will deal proper elemental damage corresponding to the sphere, but the debuff effect of Ground Drift will be randomly selected out of the existing effects of Poison, Knockback, Freeze, Blind and Stun. The colour of the Ground Drift bomb will appear random, but the elemental damage will be according to the sphere used for the casting, regardless of the colour.
- The duration of Madness Canceller and Adjustment has increased to 30s respectively. SP cost has increased proportionately to 30 and 15, respectively, to match the new durations.
- You can buy Cartridges and Sphere Packs directly for zeny at the usual NPC, at a much higher cost than buying the bullets/spheres separately and combine together
Gunslinger has been given a bit more elemental spheres to match the bullets for the sphere-using guns to have more access to different spots. The duration for the buffs is also extended for ease of use.
Gunslinger skill names have also been standardized across skill tree and item descriptions to follow eAthena translations. We will slowly roll out similar changes to the other classes to standardize items, skill names and tooltips.
Alchemist Changes (Lif)
- Emergency Avoid has been lightly nerfed to no longer stack in speed with Nobility Mounts.
This affects mostly War of Emperium scenarios but Lif Alchemist should not have a specific advantage with Nobility Mounts to be faster than every other class. Alchemist now follows the practical speed limit cap of any other class.
High Wizard Change
- Gravitational Field is now limited to 1 instance of cast only
Gravitational Field's issue should be fixed such that 1 single high wizard cannot crash everyone on screen through this spell. For that reason, Gravitational Field will be re-enabled for WoE. However, only 1 instance of this spell can be cast at a time, and Gravitational Field cannot stack/overlap with one another.
Monster Rebalance
The following items have their sales price modified
- Small Bradium: sale price increased by 100%
- White Spider Limb: sale price increased by 50%
- Golden Feather: sale price increased by 50%
- Angel Magic Powder: sale price increased by 20%
- Comodo Leather: sale price increased by 50%
- Fancy Fairy Wing: sale price increased by 25%
- Final Rest: sale price increased by 25%
- Eye Drops: sale price increased by 200%
- Soft Feather: sale price increased by 300%
- Solid Iron Piece: sale price increased by 25%
- Rune of Darkness: sale price increased by 25%
- Burnt Parts: sale price increased by 100%
New etc item: Deep Sea Water, now sells 2050z (before Overcharge)
- Parus: Soft Feather drop rate increased to 100%
- King Kray: Solid Shell replaced with Deep Sea Water at 100%
- Siorava: Flying Fish Box replaced with Deep Sea Water at 100%
- Sedora: Tentacle replaced with Octopus Leg at 40% and Deep Sea Water at 60%
Specific dungeons and fields that mostly favour solo target fighting have their zeny of etc item increased. We hope that will help out classes that do not have or don't rely on AoE damage on getting a bit more zeny, or for some less explored dungeons to have better etc zeny loot as well.
Bugfixes
- Fish Bottle can be part of Buying Stalls
- Fixed a critical bug in the Hercules emulator where Speed Potion in combination with Dec Agi, Quagmire and/or Slow Grace (but no other speed debuffs) specifically results in infinite speed
- Fixed an issue where Monk combos when linked do not do splash damage beyond monsters on the exact same cell
- Fixed NPC dialogue issues related to Wootan Defender, Kingvi and Goblin King regarding what they say when the MVP has not respawned yet, or if the MVP has already spawned
- Fixed an issue with Orcus accessory combos not giving the right bonus
- Fixed an issue where Royal Trident does not show 2 slots
- Fixed an issue where Wootan Anklet is in armor slot instead of the intended footwear slot
- Fixed an issue where Pet inventory stores items that should not be allowed to be stored
