Automated Events are events that can be started by any player with an Event Bag item. Anyone online can participate. HeRO has three such events at this time, all of which are Novice events: Fabre Tame, Poring Smash, and Zombie Run.

You can host an event by talking to the GM Assistant NPC - located in the center of Prontera - with an Event Bag in your character's inventory. You can then select which event you'd like to host from the list. A server-wide announcement will be displayed to alert everyone that an event is starting.

To participate in an event, whether you are the host or not, you must create a new novice character within the 5 minute registration period. Good stats to choose for this character vary based on the event type. When you log in on your new Novice, talk to the Novice Event Registry NPC (right in front of you) and choose "Yes please" when asked if you want to join the event.

You will be warped to a waiting area until the event begins. At the end of the registration period, the Event Rep NPC will explain the rules. Warp to the event map will follow.

At the end of every event, once all items and zeny are stored, you will be instructed to delete that novice character. Participating in new events with pre-existing novice character is not allowed. More so you are not able to escape the last map with kafra on it, so there is no reason to cling to that particular novice.

Events

Fabre Tame

Recommended Stats: DEX

In this event, you will be transported to a map full of Fabre monsters with 50 taming items to get as many Fabre Eggs as you can in 12 minute period. You will also be given 20 Novice Fruits for HP recovery. The map includes an automatic resurrection every 30 seconds for any dead players. If you respawn, you can simply talk to the Event Rep NPC in the waiting area to return to the Fabre map. You will also be returned to the waiting area if you use up all of your taming items before the time is up.

During Fabre Tame, lowering the Fabre's HP raises your chances to successfully tame it. The key is to keep yourself from killing them. It can help to keep your Knife unequipped, and to set the /nc (noctrl) command off so that you don't accidentally hit them multiple times.

Once the 12 minutes pass, everyone will be recalled to the waiting room. Talk to the Event Rep NPC to collect your prizes, which vary based on how many eggs you managed to collect. After that everyone are warped to the Event Kafra, so store your prizes as well as your Novice's 500 zeny (retrievable later from the Banker NPCs in each town). If you want to squeeze every possible zeny out of the experience, don't forget to store your Knife and Cotton Shirt to NPC later!

Finally, log out to the character select screen and delete your event novice.

Poring Smash

Recommended Stats: STR, AGI, DEX

In this event, you will fight waves of different types of Poring monsters, all of which have a chance of dropping different items. You will be transported to 4 maps over the course of the event. All maps include an automatic resurrection every 30 seconds for any dead players. If you respawn, you can simply talk to the Event Rep NPC in the waiting area to return to the current map.

While you are in the waiting area, equip your Knife and Cotton Shirts. You will also have a couple of base and job levels that are given to you by the Novice Event Registry NPC. You may allocate your stat points however you like. You will gain more levels as you fight the event porings, so remember to boost your stats as you go! Once the registration period is over, the Event Rep NPC will explain the rules. Moments after, everyone are warped to the first map and receive 10 Novice Fruits to use for HP recovery.

The first map puts you against Whisperings, followed by Teddyrings. You have 4 minutes to kill as many as you can. Then all players are warped to the second map.

Second map is full of stationary Moorings. There are Moorings around the perimeter of the map, as well as in six numbered pens, which you can access by speaking to the Curious Contraptions NPCs along the center of the map. You have 2 minutes to kill as many Moorings as you can. After, all players are warped to the third map.

Third map features 2 waves of Bomb Porings. You have 4 minutes to kill as many of them as you can. Then all players are warped to the fourth and final map.

Fourth map is filled with Cupcakerings. You have 2 minutes to kill as many as you can. When that period ends, a boss monster - either Masterpoporing or Master Marin - will spawn. You have 2 minutes to take the boss down. At this stage, you can either continue to kill Cupcakerings (if there are still any left), or you can join the fight to take down the boss. However, it should be noted that if the boss is not killed within 2 minutes, the final wave of porings will not spawn and everyone will be sent back to the waiting room to collect their final prizes.

If the boss is killed, the map will be filled with Loverings. You have 30 seconds(?) to kill as many as you can. Then all players are warped back to the waiting area. After you talk to Even Rep NPC you'll be warped to the Event Kafra, to store any loot as well as your Novice's 500 zeny (retrievable later from the Banker NPCs in each town). If you want to squeeze every possible zeny out of the experience, don't forget to store your Knife and Cotton Shirt to NPC later!

Finally, log out to the character select screen and delete your event novice.

Zombie Run

Recommended Stats: AGI and VIT or AGI and LUK

In this event, you and your fellow novices will run through a zombie-infested map (shaped like "╔") in an attempt to reach the finish line. There are 5 rounds. As you progress along the path, you will obtain Zombie Progression Badges, for a maximum of 10 per round. Your prize at the end will depend on how many badges you accumulate over all 5 rounds.

While you are in the waiting area, equip your Knife and Cotton Shirts. You will also have a couple of base and job levels that are given to you by the Novice Event Registry NPC. Once the registration period is over, the Event Rep NPC will explain the rules. Soon everyone are warped to the event map and receive 30 Novice Fruits to use for HP recovery.

After that, it's all up to you. Each round lasts 5 minutes. You can run for all you're worth from the moment you arrive, or you can try to strategize and see where other players lead the Zombies and try to zig and zag around them. The Zombies are, of course, aggressive, and can also cast Venom Dust to poison players. (Keep in mind, since it's script that awards you Badges, after you get Badge YOU WILL BE STOPPED.) After turning the corner at the top of the map, you will also encounter Ghouls, who are faster and hit harder than normal Zombies.

If you die at any point along the path, you are finished for that round and must wait until the next round to continue collecting badges. You can either wait for the recall to the start of the map, or respawn to the waiting area until the next round begins. If you make it all the way to the end of the path, you will be taken back to the waiting room to relax before the next round.

Once all 5 rounds are over, speak to the Event Rep NPC to receive your final prizes based on the number of badges you obtained. After that everyone are warped to the Event Kafra, to store your prizes as well as your Novice's 500 zeny (retrievable later from the Banker NPCs in each town). If you want to squeeze every possible zeny out of the experience, don't forget to store your Knife and Cotton Shirt to NPC later!

Finally, log out to the character select screen and delete your event novice.
