Custom Quests

Below is an ongoing list of all the custom quests in the world of heRO! Can you be one of the few to complete every single quests that heRO server can offer?

Some of the custom quests of heRO are related with our Allegiance system. Click on the link to see the details about the Allegiance System, along with the Allegiance-related quests.

The Allegiance Quests

When talking to the Allegiance NPC, you'll notice we used 2 very distinctive colors for Light related words (a sorta peach/beige) and Dark related words (dark purple), if you see those colors again you can be sure that the NPC has something to do with the Light VS Dark system.

The Allegiance Quests are a collection of quests that can help you earn Light and Dark points for the Allegiance System in heRO. Their starting location and difficulty rating are all different. See that link for more details about the Light/Dark Allegiances, related customs and the heRO roleplay.

Quest #1 - Doll's Quest
This quest is about a sweet little girl who is waiting for her father to return as he's out to sea. Will you make her happy by bringing her something she really wants, or make her cry now while her father is gone?

Quest #2 - Find the Explorator!
This quest is about exploring the world of heRO. There is a lady who likes exploring also, if you find her she will reward you for reaching such far and exotic places. There are a few pictures of her in her travels. Use them as clues to find her in the worlds of heRO!

Quest #3 - The Lovers' Destiny
This quest is about 2 young lovers in the Land of Destiny... Will you help with their romance or crush their dreams?

Quest #4 - A Lost Friend
This quest is about someone who worries about a lost friend. He's near a rocky area where poor people works and uses picks to make a living.

Quest #5 - The Sign Quest
This quest is not custom to hero server, but because it is so heroic, Valkyrie herself will reward you with Allegiance points for your valiant effort.

Quest #6 - Monster Extermination
This quest will require you to kill 500 monsters and find various NPCs. It starts in East Prontera, talk to Jack. This quest is repeatable once per month!

There are other seasonal quests, such as one only available during the Christmas holiday and another around Halloween. Multiple one-time events throughout heRO server may give you allegiance points as well! Be sure to be online to play often, and you will surely meet up with them!

Avian Wing

An old pervert Naru resides in the Einbroch Hotel, but he has the unique ability to make a pair of wings that make light as a feather, giving you bonus agility and movement speed.

Bear Beanie

A girl in Lutie is willing to combine two different hats into a new, cute hat that is perfect for the winter season! Bring her a beanie and a teddy bear hat to complete the quest!

Big Fish Hat

Big Fish Hat

When you wear the Big Fish Hat, it will give you a higher chances of obtaining better items in fishing.

To obtain this hat, you need to to have started fishing and possess a certain fishing related item. Talk to the man who showed you how to start fishing and carry that item with you, and choose the option to talk more with him.

Flower Wings

The flower lady inside the wondrous Yggdrasil Tree wishes to share her creation using flowers and herbs across the world which she adored so much. If you can help her, she will share with you her "Flower Wing" which is a strong armor with great protection against magical energies.

Hairstyling

Tired of the official, limited variety of official hairstyles in Ragnarok Online? If you are any class but a Novice/Baby Novice, visit the shop in the southwestern part of Prontera, and complete a simple item collection quest to earn yourself an unique "Haircut Coupon" so you can get an unique custom hairstyle from Styla in Prontera!

Hemerald's Elemental Wings

Long, long ago, there was a small village located near Geffen called Eraldhur. This village was popular for its magic school leaded by Sir Hemeral Straberough, a powerful High Wizard well known for his research about magic. Hemeral, knew about some secrets on the ancient magic and was working on a new type of special wings that could grant the elemental property to anyone. Four pairs of these powerful Elemental Wings were made, designed after the element of fire, water, wind and earth. However, he died when Eraldhur was plunged into flames for reasons unknown.

However, Hemeral scattered his students, the Elementalists, to various parts of the world before he died. Each of them enjoy to spend time in places where they could surpass their abilities and increase their knowledge about their respective elements. Perhaps the Elementalists are the only ones who can reassemble Sir Hemerald's Elemental Wings in this world...

Lonely Artist

An artist in the destroyed town of Morroc is having a hard time making a masterpiece of art. Give him some much needed assistance, and he may share with you his secret techniques of drawing- the "Scribbling Pencil" which allows the user of the item to use the skill "Graffiti"!

Miracle Man

In Aldebaran there is a rumor of a man who can perform miracles, turning water into wine. Bring him a "Holy Water" with 800 zeny, and be amazed as he turns your Holy Water into a fabulous "Grape Juice"!

Monster Extermination

This is a monthly repeatable quest that rewards both items and 5 allegiance points if you finish it within the month! Start your quest in Prontera to be sent off to fight various monsters in the world and exterminate them! The quest must be completed within the same month it is started in.

Mr. Hatter

Mr.Hatter

Mr. Hatter is a weird fellow from a far away land, he is also unique to heRO. He's been in the hat business all his life, and he has perfected his art to make beautiful headgears. You can find him lurking in the garden in front of Freya's Temple (North of Rachel) enjoying the beautiful scenery. Talk to him and you can initiate the quest for Mr. Hatter.

Nobility

Be a proud member of the Nobility in Rune Midgard, forever honored even by King Tristan III himself! The treasury of gold reserves for Rune Midgard has been running low due to recent wars and other necessary spendings. Therefore, the king will award the Nobility Status to anyone who can help in refilling the treasury. Answer to the king's royal decree regarding the treasury and Nobility is in reach!

Novice Wing

A hard working novice called Emmy waits for you within the Novice Training Grounds. If you can also prove to be a hard working novice like her and complete all the tasks she has in store, you will be rewarded with unique equipment exclusive to the Novice class!

Note: Characters on your account must have decided on an Allegiance to join before you can start this quest for your Novice.

Oh So Blue

A straightforward quest with a simple item list and very small amount of zeny to change your normal ordinary green colored Beret into a Blue Beret!

Rabbit in the Hat

Assemble the custom headgear "Rabbit in the Hat" by bringing the Magician Hat and the Lunatic Hat to a man in Geffen!

Thanatos Tower Party

Up in a tower under the excavation and maintenance of the Rebenker Company is a group of brave adventurers who try to challenge the great MvP of the tower, "Memory of Thanatos." However, due to various problems such as the lack of equipment, injuries in battle, personal quarrels between party members, and curiosity leading the party members astray, the party is completely separated and broken up. The party leader who waits for his party members up in Thanatos Tower F12 hopes that someone can lend a hand for their party so they will gather up again and defeat "Memory of Thanatos" together as a team.

Note: In heRO server, any class can enter the upper portion of Thanatos Tower if they are at Level 99 and pay a fee. Transcendent classes can enter the tower at any level.

Tower Hat Quest

An astonished artist is inspired by the mighty Wizard's Tower of Geffen and wants to create a new headgear based on the light and dark allegiance's Angeling Helm or Deviling Helm. Bring one of these two helms to the man and work together to create the Angeling/Deviling Tower Hats!

Wandering Spirit Quest

A rumor spreads in the world that there is a mysterious, wandering spirit causing trouble for many different people. The obsessive scholar Muerto in the city of Yuno is determined to solve the mystery.

Warper's Letters: Sisterly Affection Quest

The girl who provides Warper's save point service has not seen her fellow sisters in a very long time and wonders if you can help deliver a few letters for her to her sisters in the other major cities of Geffen, Aldebaran, Payon, Morroc, and Izlude. For helping her, she may reduce the cost needed to unlock these cities with some small gifts, along with giving you a basic introduction to some of heRO server's attractions and customs!

Zodiac Gate Quest

In the city of Yuno reside the Time master and the 12 brothers that were entrusted with the sacred task to guard the seals.

Each brother is responsible for the seal of a month and will need proof of your worthyness to open the seal. They can each open a seal, but only the time master can open the Gate of Time that leads to the timeless room, and only if all 12 monthly seals were opened first.

The timeless room is the domain of the Zodiac master and his 3 sisters. All 4 of them hold gifts for the travellers that reach the timeless room. In addition, the Zodiac master is also the maker of a magical Zodiac Stone that spawns beautiful colored wings in your back. He can also dress you up with his Zodiac color palette.
