Fishing is a custom activity on heRO. It allows you to do exactly what it sounds like - fish up some delicious fish that can heal both HP and SP depending on what you get.

To start fishing, you need to have completed a short item collection quest and assembled a fishing rod. This fishing rod and baits (which you can buy from the fisherman NPC only at the beginner's spot) plus having completed the quest are required to go fishing.

Quest

To start the quest take the west exit from Prontera. Then go once more west using the northwestern exit. Go to the end of the southern-facing peninsula on the north part of the map.

The fisherman will ask you for some items to start teaching you fishing:

After giving the fisherman the items, he will teach you how to fish. Pay attention to the order as he will ask you to repeat the steps afterwards.

After completing the fishing quest you can start fishing. The normal fishing spot is just below the fishing man in the water. It's invisible so try hovering your mouse near the beach until you find it. Fishing requires bait which you can buy from the fisherman.

You can buy many packages for bait, but the most economical is 100 baits for 15000z.

  • Note: Fish cannot be used in WoE any longer!

Fishing spots

Normal

  • Fishing Point: Adds to your fishing skill, with 70 total you can begin the Fishing Mastery Quest. If you have 50 fishing points in the basic fishing spot you can get 15 bait. If you have 70 fishing points at the advanced fishing spot you can earn 15 bait also.
  • Guppy: A fish that heals the same as a red potion.
  • Trout: A fish that heals the same as a orange potion and a grape.
  • Bass: A fish that heals the same as a yellow potion and a grape juice.
  • Salmon: A fish that heals the same as a white potion and a blue potion. Small chance to get blinded.
  • Angel Fish: A fish that heals 700-1000 HP and 100-130 SP. Small chance to get frozen.
  • Dory: A fish that heals half of your HP and SP. Small chance to get Poisoned or silenced.
  • Nemo: A fish that fully heals your HP and SP. Small chance to get Poisoned or silenced.

In order to start fishing here you will need to be base level 60. You will not obtain guppies anymore at the advanced fishing spot.
