heRO is a private Ragnarok Online server, but it's also a great project, and we do our best to make our server a fun and enjoyable place to be for everyone. We have a plethora of custom content, which we make sure is balanced, in order to make it our own special RO world.

heRO also has lot of custom monsters, including options for newer players (as low as level 20) so that there are new level spots beyond the usual Spores and Wolves. Typically, custom monsters have an Exp/HP ratio of 1.6 to 1.8. Tougher monsters or high end monsters can exceed to 2 Exp/HP or higher.
- 3x Item Drop Rate
Although heRO operates at a 3x Item Drop Rate, heRO has greatly increased rare equipment drop rate from regular monsters especially older equipment to be more reasonable by modern day standards. Most normal monsters drop their equipment at 0.3% if the monster is considered soloable, or 0.45-0.6% for monsters that require a party.
- Crystal Mirror has a 20% decrease in drop rate. All monsters who drop Crystal Mirror, with the exception of Mavka, has a boost of their Crystal Mirror drop rate by 20% or higher.

WoE Twice A Week
To keep the wars fun and action-filled we have only opened 2 normal castles so far. The server is based in EST time (Eastern part of America), but we tried to make sure the hours were also accessible to other timezones, and that WoE hours do not prevent most people from having a social life.
