Description: Up in a tower under the excavation and maintenance of the Rebenker Company is a group of brave adventurers who try to challenge the great MvP of the tower, "Memory of Thanatos." However, due to various problems - such as the lack of equipment, injuries in battle, personal quarrels between party members, and curiosity leading the party members astray - the party is completely separated and broken up. The party leader who waits for his party members up in Thanatos Tower F12 hopes that someone can lend a hand for their party so they will gather up again and defeat "Memory of Thanatos" together as a team.

• Note: This guide is separated by the minimal amount of trips it can take to complete this quest. This is done to somewhat simplify the guide.

Trip One

1. You'll need to reach the top of the tower in order to start this quest. Talk to Ariel the High Wizard, located near the portal in the center of the 12th floor. He'll ask you to help him in getting his party together again so they can defeat Thanatos. He will also reward you with a special pet egg if you bring him this list of items:

• Fragment of Agony x3
• Fragment of Hatred x3
• Fragment of Despair x3
• Fragment of Misery x3
• Treasure Box x5
• Cursed Seal x10
• Stone of Sage x5
• Golden Ornament x5
• Harp[2]
• Garnet x3

• Note: He won't accept the items right now to continue the quest, but you will need to bring them to complete the quest and gather the rewards from the other NPCs.

Trip Two

2. Ren, a Thief, is on the 1st floor of Thanatos Tower. His location is random. However, all you need to do with this NPC is speak with him, and then you can continue.

3. Next, find Sakura, the Assassin, on floor 3 of Thanatos Tower. She will ask you to bring her a Red Frame (obtainable from Dark Frame or Gift Box). She'll then tell you to find Marcus.

4. Talk to Marcus, the Paladin, on the 5th floor. Bring a Frozen Rose (Garm Baby, Ice Titan, Gift Box). He then tells you to find the Priest from their group.

5. Talk to Joy, the Priest, on the stairs between floor 7 and 8. Be sure to be wearing a Safety Helm (Skeleton Worker, Martin, Mining). She tells you to visit Marcus again. This will end Trip 2 of the tower.

Trip Three

6. Talk to Marcus on the 5th floor again. Bring a Skirt of Virgin (Sohee) with you. He then tells you to visit the Rogue.

7. Talk to the Rogue, Travis, who can be found on floor 6.

8. Now talk to Jacqueline, the Alchemist, on floor 9. She'll ask you to find her dead buddy Kyle, on the same floor.

9. Kyle will ask you to bring an Yggdrasil Leaf to Jacqueline.

10. Go talk to Jacqueline again with an Yggdrasil Leaf. She will then also ask you for Glacial Heart x1 (Siroma, Snow Bunny), Burning Heart x2 (Magma Dungeon monsters), and Immortal Heart x3 (Verit). You do not get a physical item from the one she makes, but you are prompted that you have received one. This will finish Trip 3 of climbing the tower for this quest.

Trip Four

11. Talk to Marcus on floor 5 again.

12. Talk to Travis on floor 6 again. This will finish Trip 4 of climbing the tower.

Trip Five

13. Talk to Marcus again.

14. Talk to the Cathren, the Sniper, on the 10th floor. You'll need to bring her Key of the Underground x5 (Elder, Clock, Clock Tower Manager) and Zargon x10 (Various monsters or buy from shop). The elemental ores for the blacksmith on the next floor need to be present in your inventory for Cathren to accept the items she asks for.

15. Talk to Sarah, the Blacksmith, on floor 11. It is suggested to bring 50+ of each elemental stone; Red Blood, Crystal Blue, Wind of Verdure, and Green Live.

• Tip: You can bring a pet to hold these stones for you to manage your own weight better

She will procedurally make each elemental orb, using 10 at a time. She can and will fail; this is why you're bringing A LOT of each. Once she successfully makes each orb, she will make one big orb out of those four. This, too, can fail. You do not receive a physical item, but will be told if it was successful or not.

16. Once Sarah successfully makes the final orb for you, take it to Ariel, the High Wizard on the 12th floor. Tell him you talked to everyone, and give him all the items he asked for from step one and he will reward you with the appropriate egg based on your allegiance, as well as 10 allegiance points. He then tells you to go and speak with all his friends again.

• Light: Observation Egg
• Neutral: Solace Egg
• Dark: Retribution Egg

Note: If you do not have sufficient allegiance points, you will still be awarded with a Lady Solace egg. Ariel will tell you that you are not enough of a hero. The amount of points needed is unconfirmed, but 55 is not enough.

Trip Six

17. Now visit all the other party members in this order to receive various rewards from each of them. They will reward you 2 million base experience when you talk to each.

• Cathren (Sniper): Floor 10 - Old Card Album
• Sarah (Blacksmith): Floor 11 -

   Costume Thanatos Sword (Garment Costume slot)

• Ariel (High Wizard): Floor 12 - 5 Passes to warp directly to the top of Thanatos Tower

• Note: The passes can be found in the Consumables section. It looks like a Vesper Core and has your name on it.

In Storage, it can be found near fish.

Once you use a Pass, YOU get warped all the way to the top. If you are in a party, your party will NOT be warped with you. You will need to bring the Fragments necessary for the summoning, and you will need to do the summoning.
