True Poring Island (poring01) is a custom map accessible from Poring City. It can be accessed from Poring City (kid_ground), a custom town that came into being during the 2012 heRO birthday quest when heRO's Porings staged a protest against humanity for their cruelty toward Poring-kind.

Map

How to get to True Poring Island

Note, if you already have Poring City save point unlocked, skip to step 4.

1. Go to pay_fild04 ("Poring Island" according to the Warp NPC) and find Bloop, who is located at 347, 340 (Northeast part of map, on a small island).

2. Bloop will request a Drops Doll as payment so it can warp you to Poring City. These are sold in Lutia Field 01 at around 252 260 (Northeast) by the Doll Seller.

3. Once you bring the doll to Bloop, it will warp you once to Poring City. Make sure to unlock the Save Point there, otherwise if need to return you'll have to bring Bloop another Drops Doll.

4. Talk to the Applering at town square (south of the warpers and kafra area), and pay 3,000z.

Strategy

Non-aggro'd Moorings are actually friendly as they will often prioritize healing nearby players over itself or other monsters. Players as early as level mid 40's can start farming Moorings for their high amount of Job EXP but would require decent Flee gears and making use of Mooring heals to sustain in the map. Luring Moorings away from nearby aggressive monsters helps a lot.

Strategy

Its high DEF and MDEF, in addition to a decently strong Mammomite and Ghost 3 property can prove very annoying to low and mid leveled players attempting to kill it. It casts Wide Confusion even when not aggro'd. Green Potions are useful for curing Confusion.

Strategy

Despite its cute and small looks, Pouring can be very dangerous, oftentimes killing even unsuspecting high-leveled players with its deadly Water Ball. Avoid drawing aggro from Pouring if it can't be killed quickly.

Pet Availability

Mode

Drops

  • Teddybear Hat 0.03%
  • Topaz 1.50%
  • Bearfoot Special 0.30%
  • Teddyring Card 0.03%
MVP Drops

None

Strategy

Due to its high ATK and high HIT, it is best for low leveled players to avoid Teddyrings. However, new Knights may try to challenge Teddyrings by spamming Auto Counter to avoid being hit at all and ranged classes such as Archers and Magicians are able to damage Teddyrings from afar and kite them around due to their slow move speed.
