Blizzard lost most of their old team by their crazy obsessiveness to WoW.
I have little hopes for D3 and SC2
We just have to wait and see. Hate it or love it, the diablo series always has a space in my gaming heart XD

There is no release date yet.
But if you saw the demo gameplay, you can see that the game's development progress is pretty good - the gameplay, monsters, loot, skills and graphics all look pretty good as if the game will be ready in a few months.
