Where?
Brasilis -- a nice place to relax and chill while we get some cheap hats, no?
Who?
The whole server is invited to this event! No one is discriminated against.
Gerik is hosting, of course. I will be using the character "Shichiro" for all hat purposes.
(One hat will need me to call in a surprise guest ;o )
When?
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010. Provided I don't get shifted for a last minute shift or something, I will be there.
It will be held at 8pm server time.
Why?
My storage is 700/700. And looking through my equipment section I noticed I had a lot of 2 things. One was slotted hoods. >.>
The other was various hats that I kept for looks, but I never really used or paraded around. So I figure I'll let them out to the general public-- for a price! (Don't worry... it's not going to be that expensive!)
How?
Everyone who wishes to participate in the auction will need to make a novice named Auction<Charactername>. For example, "AuctionGerik".
Head to the novice grounds as per normal. When you get to the Kafra, head to "Prontera". From there, there will be priests to pick you up for the auction with Warp Portals to Brasilis (At the moment, this is the easiest way for me to do things. If I can get some GM help for this, that would be great *nudgenudge*)
The reason to do this is because this should "limit" everyone to 500z. Of course I can't stop you going to your banker to getting zeny, but I'm also laying down some more rules.
Otherwise, it should run like a normal auction. I'll put on the hat, people can start bidding. As I said, 500z bets are auto-buy, but that also stops you from buying out any other hats. So bet wisely!
Hats up for grabs include (but are not limited to the following):
Sure, they're not the best hats-- but for a maximum of 500z, you can easily get something worth more than that. Or, you could walk out with a ton of hats!
In the event that everyone is out of 500z, and I have hats leftover-- I will allow you to use your regular zeny.
I promise, there'll be some actually useful hats in there too. but I won't tell you what, or when. ;D
