The problem for me is that I'm stuck with an undroppable, unstorable culinary wine item and I somehow need to get rid of it so I can have 0 weight for another quest for Monk skills...

Are you sure you're clicking the right NPC? Lecollane is behind a desk downstairs, right in front of a chalkboard, if I remember right.

I did this part of the quest easy. Dunno why you'd be having problems otherwise. D:
