I voted that this ToH's Monster trial was balanced on the poll, because the first 4 out of the 5 rounds I found to be pretty reasonable.

However, I can't help but wonder what the GMs were thinking for round 5 - why would you ever bother to nerf down a Moonlight flower's HP (120k -> 60k) but not the Incarnation of Morroc's 190k HP? If the round 5s are supposed to be on approximately the same level in any aspect at all, then this ToH's round 5 was completely out of proportion. Easily, the highest HP mob ever given in ToH, unless I remember wrong, but I highly doubt I do.
Yah that does seem very hard for almost any class to chip out 120k in 2 minutes solo. o_o

And pretty sure Golem heals too on top of that...so yah a really hard round 5, but at least its doable to get 5 points in since its easy to run by golem with little difficulty. :D
Heals for 9999 and pneumas... my sniper could only drop it to half using full SP. But i ran out of space to trap.
I liked the last monster. Anything that screws over a sniper im down with. And I killed it with a pally so meh.
There's tons of things that can screw over a sniper. I don't care about the monster using pneumas or whatnot - it's the monster selection and the things that are done to each monster to balance it to ToH as a whole. When you nerf down the HP of a noob monster like Moonlight Flower and don't care to do anything about a 190k HP Incarn, there's just something wrong with the GMs who picked and OK'd the selections.
10 Explosions: 15000z;
7 Sky Deleters: 21000-31500z;
5 Blue Aciduses: 37500z;
3 Cornuses: 31500z;
1 Incarnation of Morroc (Golem): 71250z;

CT-ing everything with good enough equipments to tank them and acing monster trial: Priceless.

There are some things you can't Whack with money.
For everything else there are Whitesmiths.

i'd prefer seeing players with backbones(melees) win over those without Laugh
hmm.. I didn't manage to kill Cornus or Incarnation of Morroc..
but, all the Cornus were not aggressive hence Sniper should Trap then hit from far away avoiding Meteor Assault (Pulse Strike??) looking skill Cornus has.

As for Incarnation of Morroc, the Pneuma was always right on top of it..
and If I'm not mistaken you can not put Pneuma next to each other or too close.

So what I did was.. Put two trap down, when the Incarnation of Morroc was trapped, I DS once, pneuma casted, I wait till the trap release, and it was trap again with pneuma just behind it, so no more pneuma can be cast there..

Maybe with this it will be clearer:
X: Trap
-: Cell
O: Sniper

X-X----O

While Pneuma need to be cast like this:
P: Pneuma
H: Area effected by pneuma
-: Cell
Y: Pneuma can be cast again

HHH
HPH-Y
HHH

I put my trap at - right where he can not cast pneuma.
I manage to deal about 80k dmg..However, as I mention before I did not manage to kill it. I was nervous xP

There were some Snipers manage to get 10 points in round 5..Who ever that was, it would be nice if you could share how did you manage to get 10 points? =D
