Just finished installing the mini patch and extracted it in my RO folder
Problem is ... I get the message Failed to Connect to Server whenever i get the patch workin.. is it Update time? or am I just wrong about my installation?

idk about this but ill suggest downloading the full installer, i've seen quite many threads about this and that way solved their problem

Full installer. Your former inferior RO is incompatible with heRO's awesome.

Did you only get the mini installer, or did you also get Ragray to install it with, or did you install it in a folder that already has another server?
