I remember I have tried this before using crossover, and I kept getting unable to connect messages, or something alike.

I was wondering if nowadays there's a way to run it using an emulator, or something, without having to install windows.

There are plenty of ways. I believe the most popular is called Bootcamp?

Iunno, I'm on a POS PC. You can search the forums, though. I know it's been brought up numerous times.
