Hi everyone,

I just came across a thread in the Selling-Subforum, where Elemental Converters are sold.
Does that mean that the new Quest Skills are implemented on heRO?
If so, where could I find information about them, most importantly of course where and how to get them?

Thanks for listening
Torean
Usually, an Npc inside or near the place where you change job will give you one or two skills if you bring him certain items.
I think he/she means second job skills, there's only 1 per class I think. But you are right they are usually near to where you change job. Perhaps someone has a link to more information? I'm sorry I don't, I never any of the 2nd job quest skills XD
Pandora's right. I am talking about the 2nd job quest skills. I apologize for not making that clear.
Thanks for the quick answer, I'll go look around for those NPCs.
Keele Zeibel is right too.

Those NPCs arent very clear, they wont say that they'll give you a skill, they only ask for an item list out of the blue, and usually won't repeat it so make sure to note it down.
Maybe if someone hunted them down and make a guide about them ... *hint towards anyone who knows how to do that*
I second that
You can only see the item list if its your class' skill, so you need 12 characters, one of each class, to hunt them all down...

Its easier to google it and take the info from someone else /ho.

edit: I received bad reputation for the post I made earlier in this topic? Wathever, I guess its now wrong to help new people out...
so far all i know is:
- crusader skill is in geffen, next to the wizard tower. (you have to gamble with him to get the skill, if you lose he wont give it to you but he takes the quest items anyways)
edit:it is about 25% chance to win

- dancer is in commodo, the skill rarely works neways (for me)

if anyone knows anymore please post it here.
Disclaimer: It may be the case that you have to collect a random set of items for these quests (similar to the test to change to monk). If that actually is the case I apologize for misleading you. The items mentioned below are the ones I had to collect.

Okay, one (edit: two) guide (edit: guides), as ordered:

Monk Quest Skills: "Ki Translation" and "Ki Explosion"

Important notice:
To get this quest you are not allowed to have any(!) items in your inventory! Yes, that means you have to be naked.

You can get this quest from a monk in St. Capatolina Abbey. Just enter the training hall and right there on the ground floor is a bald monk, whose name I forgot.
Talk to him and if you're naked and have no items in your inventory he will give you the quest to collect 40 Stem and 3 Shoot. Both items are easily gained from Mandragoras and Floras one field east and two fields north from Prontera. Or if you're feeling particular masochistic you can find Mandragoras one east and one north from Prontera, but that maze is a pain to navigate. Well, it's your call.

Even more important notice: To finish the quest, you can have as much as items in your inventory as you want. Yes, that means you don't have to be naked...

As soon as you have those items (collecting shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes), head back to the abbey, talk to the bald (and slightly voyeuristic?) monk again, and you're done.

Not so important notice: Yes, he gives you both skills at the same time.

Hope it helps, although I have no clue how many monks there even are on our server.

And another one:

Assassin Quest Skills: "Sonic Acceleration" and "Throw Venom Knife"

This one is really easy to do, although a little expensive.
Just go to Morroc; south of the Kafra girl is a Jewel Seller. Talk to him and buy 3 Sapphires and 1 Ruby.
Now go to the Assassin's guild. If you forgot where this was (shame on you!): It's 2 south and 2 east of Morroc. Just inside the guild compound stands a guy called Kiltin. Talk to him and he tells you to go and steal 3 Sapphires and 1 Ruby (*gasp*).
Just hand them over and you're done. Both skills are yours.

Should I repost these in the "guides" subforum? Or maybe this thread should be moved there altogether?
