windows died and i don't have installation disc. thought it was high time to try DUNDUNDUNNNNN
LINUX

but:

tired of looking up everything. it hurts my poor little brain

have installed and fully patched heRO on a flash drive. i right cleek hero.exe in it, i run it with "windows wine program loader". heRO starts to pop up - i see the outline of the window - it le disappears like a magician

i run to terminal.
cd /media/3C1E-ADB1(name of flash drive).
wine heRO.exe

same thing, with le errors:

i mostly see the "please report to wine-devel" and think IS WINE DOIN IT WRONG?

i have wine 1.2 (stable version). i'm running the latest version of not-beta ubuntu, some 11.etc thing i do believe.

haaaaalp

edit: also i have already reinstalled wine 1.2 a couple of times so idk man
Perhaps try a different Windows emulator for Linux?
Latest Version of Wine is 1.5.1 last i checked.

Even if you do get it running you will likely find it laggy / slow. Emulators tend to take up a lot of resources when used to run something like a game.

Someone get Ange in here before I blow an artery.

FUUUUUUUUUU
and yeah bats the latest is a beta 1.3 which i'm going to try
There's a program called Cross Over that's also a windows emulator for linux. Try it out.

Edit:: Ah never mind Cross Over is shareware. *whispers keygen*
Or you can get a windows iso and a blank disk. Bam. Windows disk.
i should have done that. sad day. because of memory issues i wiped computer before installing ubuntu
</winner> not like i had anything important anyway
wine 1.2 loses, wine 1.3 wins

problem solved. this thread can be beleted now
