Does anyone know if I can download the latest kRO client folder from RMS (10-01-2012 kRO Client Folder), patch it, and then install the minimal heRO client and play? I tried this but it does not seem to work for me.

We run off RagRay.

So what method do you suggest for me to install?

A kind user messaged me on the work around with the kRO client folder at RMS. Turn out you just need to download an older dll package.
