There is no doubt that Dimensional Gorge is the new EXP goldmine but has it made the game too easy and does it need a nerf? Just want to know what you guys think.

Pro's - Good exp, no tedious quest lines like Nameless Dungeon, Only basic gears needed to do good

Con's - makes game too easy, sense of prestige and accomplishment gone, encourages leeching

My Personal Opinion:
I vote yes it's too easy and needs a nerf but I come from the older generation of RO vets before DG, Nameless and Ice Dungeon were implemented. I think an easy leveling place like DG takes away from the prestige and sense of accomplishment of having a high level trans character. It also dosn't push players to use their character's fullest potential. Back in the day it used to take skill, dedication and good equipment to get a high a level trans. There was also a sense of accomplishment and prestige having 99'ing and/or trans'ing your character. Nowadays anyone can line up at DG with next to nothing gears and lack of skills and get a 99 trans in a week.
Think about how old this game is.
How many players are probably new???

Many of us have done this shizzle for years and years before the newer dungeons were released.??We're tired of the grind, and/or don't have the time we use to.

I do not see the point of nerfing the exp gain.??heRO obviously is also encouraging partying with the recent increase for and extra 20% per person in party.??Anyway, if you nerf DG, people will just go back to Thors or Nameless again anyway.??

Honestly, our idea of fun in RO may be different, in this case, you can certainly go and gather exp at older dungeons or whatnot.??But I wouldn't try to push people into a box of what your definition of fun is, that certainly varies too much from player to player. It wouldn't really be fair to nerf the exp rate of anyplace. =/

No. It just took some more grinding.

If DG is an exp gold mine, I don't know what thors is.....

Anyway, even if you nerf DG, then people will just go back to nameless, it won't change a thing. The majority of players will go for decent easy exp over fast difficult exp.
^ What he said

Besides, even DG teaches new tricks, and REAL DG parties (I really don't like those new style camping ones, they are boring as hell, even more boring than nameless) are still fun to play.

Just let things stay as is. Besides, now people get some parties screwed because SM is being killed. Not much, but hey, it accumulates :D
I grind outside of Thors, Nameless and DG >> Slower, but I'm satisfied with what I manage with. If I could dedicate real time into the game maybe I'd finally reach 99/70 on my Sinx and Trans my Mage...
Heh, let me answer like a GM would: "it's a player's matter!"

Dude, who cares, let them 99/70 all their chars, they'll still drop like flies...They don't even know what their roles are.

True dat. You feel more proud And satisfied grinding for a long time and finally reaching your highest point.

I voted its quite OP but its fine the way it is. We'll just have to handle it ourselves. Maybe stop inviting your "Friends" in your DGs.
If they force youinto taking them, they're not real friends imo Icon_razz

DG has thought me valuable lessons that:
- All I need is 100vit and bathory to trans a class within days
- You don't have to feel bad about fitting yourself in every DG party with a non-essencial class.

Not all of us would say something like that, just FYI. Not that you obviously care from that statement.

Some people enjoy grinding and some enjoy leveling fast, it's player preference in the end. I don't personally find DG to be over powered, but again it's just my opinion.

That's pretty true, though I still see quite a few people wiping their parties out there.
I agree and disagree to the statements above.Icon_wink My thing is, what
this sever has become. Where 99/70 is a must, to keep up with
all the veterans?and gears. So being that said, it's good to get
your whole guild/friends to 99/70 easily on?a few DG parties.
Though also with other facts stated above. There will be
people max level on a class. Having no idea what there
doing outside of DG. That ends up messing with other
players in the long run.(Maybe I don't know, just a
thought) Over all, I think DG may need to be
hardened a good bit. So we don't have Noob
99's running a muck I mean a BS can lure no
problem there, yes that's no shocker. Still
just means to me it's to easy. Keep it the
same, Nerf it, honestly it really dose not
matter. Already said in above post, if DG
gets Nerfed. It will just go back to Name
or Thor. Ok done ongoing "rant"? Icon_twisted
