Hi all;

We had a few ideas that might improve the server, they are as follows..

1) A Hero newsletter
It could involve a "Hero of the month" a "Map of the month" released obviously monthly.
With this a poll could be involved by map of GM's choice as to a map that might offer extra exp, or extra items.
Staff bios would be good with this..


2) A tips and tricks subforum
This could be a tips and tricks subform which would involve each class.
For example "a how to level" for a certain class

3) A monster of the month, as voted by GM's might give 1.5 exp
With a prize to the person suggesting like a mr hatter voucher or oca, or coupons
with a small prize to people who have suggested?

4) Community corner
like a poll that may be to what a monster of the month, a player of the month
a gm or mod of the month, hero of the month, i dunno. a prize for voting may be like 1 ori or something

5) heRO's share
a "What monster would you be and why"
A winner gets to be that sprite of the monster for 24 hours

6) Heros in motion with a theme of a GM's choice
Heros In Motion Theme of the Month: Deaths
send in your funny, epic, scary or just plain awesome looking death screen shots

7) an art of the month..? maybe too

I support the ideas above.
But for the 2nd idea, we already have a "guides section" for the leveling purpose though.

I know I posted a "what would improve heRO" post, this is just an extension of that of our ideas.

Newsletter would be a neat idea, could drag players to be more involved with the server as reporters, columnists etc - I could imagine various columns, not only heRO-related, interviews, Q&A, whatever you imagine. Hell, it could be entirely player-run, although a GM as chief of staff or at least a staff member could open new possibilities.

Most def, maybe a class specialist columnist?

then that might get a bit difficult.. but columns written by people about.. i dunno, zeny making ideas, leveling ideas, party ideas??

This belongs in the suggestions section. But yeah I support most of the ideas above and have suggested similar ideas. We have had similar map/monster of the month events and creativity contests before. They just aren't as re-occuring.

What don't you support menace? Serious statement, anything here will help heRO imo.
