If you had 4 general areas in heRO to pick as your favorite, what would they be?

By general area, I mean a field (Prontera Fields, Yuno Fields), or a dungeon (Ice Cave, Muspelheim), and so on. Please try not to include towns, mystic/endless tower, warzone, or guild dungeons, as they won't be taken into consideration.

This thread will have no poll as there's a maximum of 15 poll options, and heRO's got way more than 15 general locations. So I'll be counting each vote manually in about a month or so, from the time of posting this (early in January).



For reference, to help people have an idea of what locations can be picked, a list of all accessible locations in heRO since the creation of this thread can befound just below. They're listed by nation, and grouped together by region, to avoid making this post larger than it already is.

If I'm missing an area, please post or PM me and I will add it as soon as possible.



Rune-Midgard Kingdom:

My favourite areas would have to be:

1) Poporing Island
2) Toy Factory - Its so cheerful and happy, and no one goes here anymore D:
3) Nameless Island - I enjoy the theme for the quest/day version of the map~ Shame we can only access it during the quest, but its a simple dungeon to do if you don't get surprised by Bee.
4) Dicastes Field~

1) Juperos Ruins, Kiel Robot Factory
I really like Juperos and Kiel dungeon, especially lore-wise. I cant really decide between one or another.

2) Thanatos Tower, Odin Temple
Odin Temple is cool *_* i wish it would have been developed furthermore; Thanatos Tower is nice, the idea of climbing a tower of an increasing difficulty is super cool. Again I cant decide between them, i like both kinda equally.

3) Rachel Sanctuary
Rachel Sanctuary is so well designed, i like the maps, the creatures and the lore of it. I really wish for an Od Canyon development... t_t

4) Thor Volcano, Nameless Island/Cursed Abbey
Thor volcano is nice, not too detailed but nice afterall, theres Ifrit and high exp powerul fire monsters; Nameless Island/Cursed Abbey is very cool, i like them both.

and i wish i had space for Gefenia too X_X

and last but not least Geffenia.

Since some have been asking, I might as post to explain why I made this thread. It wasn't for anything hugely special or anything. Just planned to create 8 new DB Rooms, approximately 100x100 cells wide each, based on people's favorite areas. :P

1. Thanatos tower
2. Glastheim
3. Rachel Sanctuary
4. Odin temple

My favorite spots?

1. Hvergelmir's Fountain (Trunk of Yggdrasil). There's not a lot here, but it's definitely got the atmosphere. It's nice to come here to chill every now and then, and tends not to get as much traffic because Jumping off a bridge is quicker than walking /pif

2. Sograt Desert (the untainted parts). Satan Morroc Blew up my favorite map, but that desert BGM still brings my nostalgia back. I think nowadays, the best one left is the one with Peco Pecos south of the Old poring isle.

3. Amatsu Dungeon, Tatami Maze. Given the large amount of acolytes I've trained here, I've definitely gotten attached to this place. Given the Gunner vrs ninja events, I was hoping that this map woulda been good for the showdowns.

4. Louyang Dungeon f3 (Suei Long Gon) Gotta love that chessy pun in the Map name.

I do realize Amatsu and Louyang are both independant Nations in the general areas, but I honestly don't find the Swarzbald republic maps that interesting, despite the large number of maps. Rachel's tolerable because I like the architecture of the sanctuary, but still nothing but rocks and barren landscapes. You said No towns, or I woulda put Einbroch purely for it's BGM. I do like to derp around the Tomb of St. Vitus sometimes though if that counts for Schwarzbald republic stuffs... I really want to loot whatever's inside that building in the middle of that sand tornado...
