As the title says, how did you come across heRO? RMS? Top Sites? Fate? Friends? Let us know!

In 2008 some friends started playing here so i joined them =)

Back in like 2009-ish my group took a break from the server we met on. The fishing / mining / custom development / active dev's and GM's tickled us so we gave HeRO a shot. Custom hats 4 life.

I used to play with Panda and the original gms on another server, so back in 2005 when she told me they were making a server I joined in. <3

So friends / word of mouth.

My midrate was pretty much dead, and I and some friends needed a new server back in 2007.

Wound up picking this place, but most of my friends couldn't take the grind and have all quit. The hubster will on a very rare occasion when the moon is set right in the sky...actually play.

When my last server dead due to corruption, I looking for low server at RMS list, read reviews, read forum. I tried many low server, and I found that this server is the one that suits me well. This is my home server now

Was looking through low rates that aren't too high on population, and ended up picking heRO due to no donation gears with customs that I agree with/like. At that time, heRO was similar to now sitting at ~10th place out of all low rates.

Back in 2007 (maybe?) The high rate my then girlfriend and I played on shut down due to the main GM going to university. She picked out some low rates for us to play on. The other ones were either poor communities, or no communities at all. Then we landed here by going through the list. I think I got lured in by the wings, thinking of all of the interesting and cool combinations of headgears.

Back then there were a lot of newer players, I imagine that the server probably had a population boom around that time, so it was easy to make friends.

I've been playing on and off since.
