I've updated the bard quest file and tested it, it works. It's not an easy quest, it's kinda long, but if you're not willing to put the time and effort, then maybe you should choose another profession.
Here a quick guide, it's not complete, and after all, you should do this on your own.
Talk to a bard in commodo
He will ask you for something
Once you bring it to him, he will send you to lutie to talk with Jack frost as well as the people of lutie.
Talk to Jack Frost
Go Talk to Santa, he'll give you a gift (The Lutie santa, not alde)
Talk to Jack Frost again
He'll send you to talk to a bunch of other NPC in Lutie
Once you've spoken to all Jack Frost will give you a gift.
Go back to talk to the bard, he'll make you do a singing test.
After that you can either change right away or get another gift (a music instrument, if you bring the bard what he asks).
