Full Version: Problem with downloading patch and logging in

I have had this problem off and on where when I tried to log in but I keep getting the "Failed to connect to the server" message. However I cannot log in at all right now even after numerous PC reboots.

First I thought it would help to uninstall the other pserver I was playing in and tried again after that but it didn't.

Then I tried updating my sakray but failed after trying all the ways listed in the forum. The roloader options didn't work because the files are not listed in the file sharing service websites stated anymore.

So I thought I would move on to updating my heRO client but that failed too as I keep getting the "failed to get patch premium/...blah blah....txt"

I do not have any firewall , if you think that maybe a problem but I did update it but I do not turn it on when I play heRO.

What can i do now?
I'd recommend the new HeRO full folder we finally have available >_<
That and perhaps reinstalling the November patch?
Stupid question but where can I find that link? I do not see it stickied anywhere.

Thanks Rika. Been trying to fix this problem for the past 1 hour Icon_sad . Frustrating.

With this full folder, do I uninstall the previous Ragnarok installation before installing this one?
The folder is basically all the required rag/sakray files so you won't need the other installation you have on your computer. To save space, yes I would recommend uninstalling.

Sigh, I've downloaded the Full Folder version and installed it but it still doesn't work. It still shows the error message when i run the patcher and it still shows "Failed to connect to the server" when i run the hero.exe without patching. I can surf the net without any problems. What is there left for me to try?

I do not want to end up having to quit heRO.
That's really odd, can you take a screenshot of your RO folder and post it here please?

You downloaded both part right? And you waited for both to be finished before running the install?
